Someone convince me that changing the TickSpeed to 1 is not cheating. Cause it feels like it's clearly is. At that point just spawn in cookies :skull:

Duration is simply the maximum number of ticks left in the current mode.

The tick rate adjustment built into CookiStocker 2 has been thoroughly tested and appears to work perfectly. I recommend you use that one and disable such adjustments in other mods.

@redxlaser15 - What you are seeing is normal behavior. The six different modes merely indicate tendencies that affect the stocks. But any given stock can move in any possible way over the short to medium term.

Works well, compatible with CCSE.

Now, time for my own question. Does this mod actually work right? I have seen it say 'slow fall' despite the stock clearly going up.

@AndreY If you know how to turn on any other mod, then just do that for this one. Otherwise, go to the Options tab and scroll all the way down and you'll see a 'manage mods' button. Go in there, select the mod, click enable, then restart the game. When you open the stock market mini-game next time you'll see it there.

This is extremely helpful. It took me two days to get 5 million in profits before this, but after getting this mod I was able to get Gaseous Assets in just a couple hours by setting the tick to a second and paying unbridled attention to the stocks and the current direction they were taking. You're a lifesaver.

A number of people who use the Stock Assistant mod (highly recommended) along with CookiStocker have noticed that the use of CookiStocker breaks the "Bought value:" entry in Stock Assistant.

However, this can be easily fixed in CookiStocker. In the "buying" section of the code in main.js, right before the statement "stockList.sessionPurchases++;" (that's line 199 in the original file), insert the following:

Similarly, in the "selling" section of the code, right before the statement "stockList.sessionPurchases++;" (that's line 218 in the original file), insert the following:

Once this is done, Stock Assistant will behave properly, exactly as before.

achievements WORK

gaseous assets is a shadow achievement, so its not counted on your steam profile. same with the achievement that requires you to have an addon, or to cheat.

Also a 2 and 5 second timer option might be nice, the jump between 1 and 10 is a bit large

It might be nice if the stock value colors yellow if it's within 20% of the resting value, green if it's higher, and red if it's lower than the resting value.

This mod will hold the purchase price when you click the buy button.
However, that mod executes the buy process without clicking the button, so it cannot be detected by this mod.

"Third-party" achievements are automatically obtained when any mod is installed.
This achievements are included in the game, but are not included in the steam achievements.

Installed the mod got archivement thirt-party but i dont gget it in my list i think its not true that archivments work whit this mot i hope my file is not ruined by this ;/

Nice mod, "chaotic" mode is misspelled as "caostic" but this is the only issue I've encountered
