Tested it out and still working just fine for me.
There hasn't been a patch touching clothes, so it's probably mod compatibility on your end.
Thank you so much for the kind words!
It's sometimes funny how realistic the devs want to make the game, and then overlook super simple things like the ones you mentioned.
I'm just here to make things a little better :)
Hee hee, not a dis. Just the funny logic behind why we probably can't do this by default. I was wanting this, though. Great mod!
Use my other mod called Thread and Twine :)
I really appreciate you asking, but I'm afraid not.
Sadly I have had too many bad experiences with people taking my mods and not respecting credit, or outright denying that I made them until it was proven the code was mine.
Luckily this mod hasn't needed a serious update in a long time, and what it does is so vanilla friendly that your server should never suffer during an update, except for when Steam Workshop fails to update an individual user's file correctly.
Once again, thank you so much for asking, but the rotten few ruined it for the many.
This would include you extending your creative license to us, allowing our mod team to add/edit/use your mod to suit our server. As such we would not publish our edits to the workshop. We will include credit to you as the original creator of the mod, of course.
If this is agreeable to you or would like to discuss this further, please let us know. Thank you for all your effort.
Kai, Day’s End Mod Team
i noticed they don't give ripped sheets - which i am ok with, since they are very small - but i am interested if it was a choice - since all vanilla clothes give sheets when ripped - but it is nice to get the extra chance of getting threads when you mass rip the horde of zombies you just reverse donutted in your car :-)
anyway - great mod - does exactly what it says it does - and does it well - many thanks :-)
Sheets depend on your tailoring skill, but is very low. This is a vanilla issue.
And you’re not supposed to gain xp simply from tearing clothes, but devs might add that in vanilla later.
Pls halp
It does!
It works on my personal server, and about 5 others that I've been a guest on.
I hope you get it to work, as the problem is on your side sadly.
Read comments below.
No problem! Happy holidays :)
This is because underwear are too small.
To get cloth and threads from underwear, level up your tailoring.
This is a vanilla feature.
