Find what mod it is and just add the trade center to the valid holdings for each government.

the 00_government_types file doesn't respect load order rules. If any of your loaded mods have this file they all need to be changed to be able to build any new holding.

I have a question that maybe you or someone else in the thread can hopefully answer:

In game, it's telling me that Trade Centers are an invalid holding type for Feudal rulers. When I look in "00_government_types", though, it says Trade Centers are a valid holding type for Feudal rulers. Any ideas? Is this maybe a bug? Is there some way to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Not to mention the immoral yet heavily influential trade: slaves were a massive source of income for the realms of West Africa even in the middle ages, especially Ghana. Perhaps selling slaves would deduct levies by a certain percentage but provide a means of income? Maybe you can sell people you take when you raid captives. I don't know I am just spitballing. Its up to you to do anything. Just a humble suggestion.

With the update of the game, the building "Regional Market" is no longer displayed. Accordingly, there is no way to provide strategic resources inside your country (iron, stone, wood).
Is it possible to update the mod to the current version of the game?

@karkes you can do it for your own:

Go to "mod folder"\common\buildings

Open "resources_buildings" with notepad.

Go to

ai_value = {
-------> base = 10000000
ai_general_building_modifier = yes
}

(change "base" value.the higher the value, the more probabilities there are that the cpu will build the building).

Alright I tested again with no mods on, started a new game and gave the console command to add the tradition and after unpausing for 1 day the cost reduction worked and after putting only this mod on and repeating the process, the price didn't change even after some months. Maybe it has something to do with that the tradition gives building and holding time and cost reductions to characters of that culture and not the counties belonging to that culture?

While playing I noticed that the tradition called spartan, which gives cost reductions to castle holdings and buildings, didn't work, but after a few tests I managed to isolate this mod for causing that. So could you perhaps look into this once you have the time? This mod is too good and important to be disabled but it would be nice for everything to work properly. If everything is working for you then I guess its prob just a mod conflict.

can trade centers be held by a fedual ruler or does it need to be a repulic vessals? because if so that makes some of the best lands in iberia and makes it useless especily since republic aren't playable yet.

@Untrostlich hi, you don't need to construct those buildings, you need to conquer counties that have Grain, Fish or Livestock as resource
