i don't use this anymore BECAUSE of the broken sounds, i think you should be okay to reupload the whole thing like you said, as long as you credit the guy the same way you did in this one, would he totally freak out and not understand at all?

@Astral,the right way for me to fix this is to reupload the entire addon,and i didnt wanna do that because i dont know if ill get in trouble for that,thats why i decided to keep it this way.

I was able to fix lua errors with the Lua Repair addon but this trailer still makes a constant door sound

I may have found the cause. One of the required addons, the "[simfphys] GTA San Andreas Cars" pack, is conflicting this addon.

This mod is really buggy. I have other addon's but they don't seem to be conflicting it.

Yea ive seen the same issue as this one,although the other addon has just added the trailer attachment coding and didnt had any other old code in it.

what if its the code you replaced and the new ones became invisible to spawnlist and thhe old ones are still there?

As Pluto said every time you spawn a trailer a lua error pops up & the console reports "TR: this vehicle uses old apiTR: this vehicle uses old api".

it worked for a day but as soon as i spawned it my ears were violated by the sound of a locked door being played over and over again

still doing the same horrible sound when i spwan a trailer
