For those having difficulty with the Oovee Class 156, Armstrong Powerhouse offer a Class 156 which is vastly better simulated.

It's not even a DTG issue either, to be honest. It's still an Oovee model and it's believed they lost the source files years ago. Doesn't leave much to work with unfortunately.

A lovely scenario, I enjoyed it - however, there's one funny thing for which DPS is not to blame - it's more of DTG's business: the 156, even after the update, has this funny tendency to derail on tight curves. I left the track the first time I was doing the scenario, just after Durham, where the route goes uphill and winding. I was within the speed limit - doing 75 mph while the line allowed 100 mph. The same thing happens while doing one of the default scenarios for this train - 'Midnight Moon' on the GWR - the 156 derails just past the Southall station, passing switches where 70 mph is allowed, according to HUD.

This is badly broken on both my systems but, given the other comments are from before the update, I wonder whether TS015 has done the breaking? There are multiple pathing errors showing up affecting more than one train, including the player. I've tried to work round them but if I managed to fix one train there were still several others to do.

Fits as the version of choice between York and Newcastle for a complete London Aberdeen service, as soon as the JT Newcastle Edinburgh and Peterborough York modern get released. The Angus route is fast approaching Aberdeen from the current limit at Montrose. A supreme effort from all involved, and of course this DPS route is free as well

Update I took the plunge and brought the 56! All looks fine. Thanx for all your efforts on this Darren... I had some put to one-side for the JT Clan class? guess that will have to wait.

It would be missing at least 5 AI services though, many early morning MGR trains. I believe Northwesttrain saved up very quickly and bought it anyway! :D
