OH, REALLY? You're SURE it's not an Ingram M10, then, are you? Absolutely positive?

In around 1969 Ingram joined the Sionics Company, which previously manufactured silencers for small arms. In 1970 ... the MAC company commenced production of two versions of Ingram submachine guns – the larger Model 10 (M10), chambered for 9×19 or .45ACP ammunition, and the smaller Model 11 (M11), chambered for 9×17 (9mm Short or .380ACP). Either version was available with silencers, developed by Sionics / MAC. The MAC company closed in 1976, and manufacturing rights for Ingram M10 and M11 submachine guns were transferred to RPB Industries Inc, located in Atlanta, GA.

Just subscribed and downloaded and it works for me. First thing to check is for conflicting files. You can only have one M10 mod in place at a time, so if you've got my 'half-power guns' mod or one of Xenxei's 'real-world ammunition' mods active, it'll clash. If you bring up your list by clicking 'add-ons' in the main menu, there'll be a pop-up warning if there's a clash, and the mods that clash with be listed in red. You need to de-select them until everything's listed in white.

If that isn't it, try forcing a re-download: unsubscribe, delete the file from Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons\workshop\ and resubscribe.

That's a very different change. The P90 mod is overriding the files that say "this is what the silenced SMG looks like" and normally tell the game how to display an Ingram M10 machine pistol with new ones that say "this is what the silenced SMG looks like" and tell the game how to display an FM P90. All of that work is done at your end. The network only says what you're doing with what weapon. All the processing of how that actually looks on-screen is done by your computer. Otherwise your badnwidth requirements would be in gigabits per second.

What *this* mod does is change the *behaviour* of the weapon. This overwrites a script that says the silenced SMG uses the "silenced SMG" model, which is built right-handed, with vertical punch 1, spread per shot 0.4, max spread 30, 25 damage to the first target, 30% of that to the second target, 50 rounds per magazine, 0.0625s cycle time et cetera ... with one that says the silenced SMG uses the MP5 model, which is NOT built right-handed, with vertical punch 1, spread per shot 0.35, max spread 30, 24 damage to the first target, 30% of that to the second target, 50 rounds per magazine, 0.075s cycle time et cetera. Tighter minimum spread, less spread per shot, the same spread decay rate between shots and more time between shots add up to a more accurate weapon with more easily-controlled ammunition consumption.

I downloaded another mod, wich changes all weapons to actual weapons that appear in real life. Compatible with multiplayer. Something like the same error happened. The NEW model is used, but is held with the left hand, wich is annoying lol

It has to be compatible with multiplayer, since you only share the positions and commands you put in the game on the clients you're playing with. I tried this mod, for me, the silenced SMG looks like a FN P90, but for everyone else on the server, it looks like a normal silenced SMG.

That's what happens with all the MP5-for-another-smg mods, because of the way models are handled and because for some reason they built the MP5 one way and the other two the other way and use a bit somewhere to tell the game whether or not to flip the model. Madness. Not Sparta. Just madness.

Try Single Player mode or creating your own lobby with Local Hosting Server and it should work.

Okay, so i used this mod. What it did? It made the player hold his weapon with his left hand instead of his right. I don't know if it works in Local mode.

What happens is the mod may have a chance to go to the left of the gamer's screen, could have issue like reloading without reloading animations, shows default gun BUT with mod sounds etc., show the mod's gun but when you shoot it changes to the mod's gun and replaced gun over and over, and/or shows all of the above.
*Also shows these problems if someone joins your local server without the mod.*

the reason y it has a delay is because the original Mp5 has that delay as well... by original i mean the one that no one can get unless u use the console

I like the look and sound of this weapon, but it's not perfect. I noticed a slight delay after I reloaded the gun. There was a delay before I could fire the weapon again. That was sort of annoying to me. That's the only reason I'm still using the original silenced smg.
