Anyway, just wanted to say how great that room was. Fully thought out and intriguing story, very clever puzzles, and awesome custom effects. Well done!!
I hope you plan to make a sequel sometime; The story is very immersive and definitely made me want to know more!
But there're two small things happened:
1. carelessly dropped the key over the trash bin and then the key disappeared
2. solving the overlapping hieroglyphs riddle and i put them all on the table but one tile just disappear
We still got a bug that made us search for something for a loooot of times
In the big corridor that puts you in the dark, you are not supposed to go threw the "trap" but still managed to do it (probably bc we were in Multi player). Hope you can fix it for other people who would like to try the map !
Hard map beceause you can do a lot of things at the same time (and being two in it doesnt help haha) but was rly fun, thanks !!
1. I have no idea what i was supposed to use my tiny key on
2. The guide for the hieroglyph puzzle was broken when i played. I could not interact with or pick it up.
Also, if possible i think it'd be a good idea to be able to pin things like clues so, we don't have to keep going in and out of our inventory
I did have a couple of small issues:
1. I was able to pick up the vault key through the chest, although I already had the key at that stage so not a massive problem
2. I could not pick up the purple gem attached to the pillar in the shrinking room
I would definitely recommend heavily using the trashcan in this map because the amount of items in your inventory gets pretty big. And don't throw anything!
It would be great to have an item that we could throw and would return important items back to our inventory, like in "The Sleeping Lion Tavern" map in the workshop.
I'm going to try it again sometime because it's really well done but after 3 hours of restarting, I need a break haha.
Sad when its such a long map, cba to restart.
Thank you for this incredible room - I played it with my partner this evening and we really enjoyed it. It took us around 3 hours in total.
I was really impressed with the puzzles - and as you suggested, having a notepad and pen handy was helpful. All of the puzzles made sense; and matched our expectations of a 'hard' room.
There were a couple of bugs we encountered, of which I'm sure both are easily fixed. One downside to having a longer room, as you acknowledge, is that when bugs do pop up, they will be all the more frustrating for the player. I will try and ping the details across to you on Discord sometime this week, along with some more detailed feedback, which you may find useful.
The animation, audio, puzzles and overall design were top quality though - amongst the best I have seen. I can confidently put this in the top five rooms we've played so far (and we've played a lot!).
Well done - great job, and highly recommended!
Thank you, and I really hope to see another map from you ;)
