Trench warfare was more prominent in world war I. I suggest you look at old pictures of them (soldiers would be covered in lice, in knee-deep mud, constantly under artillery fire, and dead bodies were everywhere.)

Version two is finished and uploaded! I hope there are no problems. Unfortunately I could not get the barbed wire to work, you'll just have to add it in-game, sorry about that :\

I think you should add more trenches in V2! Or is that just a given? Or try adding water into some parts of the trench. :D

hell if you want barb wire, try getting fortifications props, they have barb wire in the props.

@FlyPiggyBanks. Thanks for your suggestions. I thought about adding more trenches, but working with displacements in Hammer is a pain in the ass, and the other option would just not look realistic. As for the barbed wire, that was definitely something I wanted to do but I can't figure out how to get it from Day of Defeat, as for the sudden skybox, it looks better now with a 3d skybox.

I do think you should add more treanches and alot of underground, make the map bigger and also of the borders of the map you should put like barbed wire or a huge stone wall or something, just an idea
