Report a translation problem
This is what happen when your dreams are crushed by the harsh reality of the rim, not every pawn is tough enough to endure it !
Well, it spice up the game, it add some challenge !
It wasn't intended, I fixed it, thank for the report!
note : for a pawn that already have the mood bonus, it will stay until the wish is fulfilled or failed but it shouldn't proc more mood buff.
Normally, wish at low expectation are easy to fullfill,
you can get more difficult wish at start if you have some mod that increase your starting wealth that make you reach the next expectation threshold for your pawn.

I did a test and it work, for most of these object of X quality you need to place them in a specific room.
If it's not the problem, I will need the exact wish that didn't work for you.
@PeasantUnit
@funishortperson
If I remember well I made a mod setting to reduce the odd to get wish.
The argument "rewarded you for overcoming challenges" does not describe Rimworld. See this list of solutions to remedy that false claim, as presented by base game, DLC and mods. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2688295123
Also, complaining about Ideology is hilarious considering you can fine tune it before the game even starts. When set-up properly, you can make your game stupidly easy. If that's what you mean by "driving player behavior" then I feel bad for you every time you have to click randomize in the pawn creation screen. Oh wait, let me guess, Prepare Carefully user? Even more irony.
What did you use to saw these stats?
I guess you use dubs performance analizer to check mod performance, it doesn't work with transpiler patch, it show the performance for the whole method instead of only the patch.
You just saw the number of call of every pawn expose data.
this is 1.2 before rocket man had its world pawn throttling so i think most of its issue was that it added the dreams comp to every pawn that generated so it tried to keep track of all those pawns even if ti was just a quick check.
Yeah relationship can be tricky, there already a wish to have a bond with an animal and the lack of control over it make it really hard to fulfill.
Wishing for slave is a nice idea, I will see how to add it.
@sidfu1
I don't remember the previous version had this type of issue. I can check if you tell me more about it.
Well, most people prefer mod that make the game easier, that not my case, but in your example I would basically use both mod together.
For Ideology, I think the point is to shape your ideology in the way you want to play, not be subjet to one that don't match your playstyle.
@hakabata
I will fix the typo, thank for the report.
Well instead of having -25 mood it will just have something like -8 if you totally ignore the wish, and even partially fulfilling it should make it positive for the time the pawn have the wish.
I also increased the chance to have easier wish at high expectation,so instead to be a Loosing is fun it should be more an Adventure story to a Strive to survive.
Mod compatibility could also add a bunch of wishes, like Children School and Learning to wish for a child, or VFE Insectoids and the future VE Genetics to wish for new genetic monstrosities, etc
