I have a question, can I somehow change the characteristics of a dino at lvl 1? For example, I don’t want the gig to have 1800 HP, and I want to reduce this number, can I edit this?

Using tranq arrow or tranq dart with Giga won't increase its torpidity, only creatures that cause torpidity such as Pachy, Pulmono and Equus do.

So, Giga takes torpor from melee attacks that deal it critter or human. In all honesty, I kind of like that, as I did some testing to do Gigas intended taming method and... its not all that good if im being honest? It sounds good in concept, in execution I dont think it hits. But a heavy hitter like Giga only being able to be reliably K.Oed when your in melee range? Thats neat. Though if you want to keep gigas current taming method, you should patch out the melee torpidity.

@Aspergersaurus IK refers to "Inverse kinematics", a system the game uses for lining up the creature's feet and body with the ground.

However! As for spawning, Utahraptor has independent spawners, so it should not affect vanilla raptors.

Never mind, just checked the known issues discussion. While I'm not entirely sure what "IK" refers to (I don't make mods), I'm going to make an educated guess that it has something to do with spawning.

Is the Utahraptor spawn dependent on that of vanilla raptor? I run a mod that basically remaps most vanilla dinos with reworked ones, which includes raptor.

In regards to Utahraptor causing lag, it is a known issue and will be fixed in the upcoming Utahraptor TLC.

@ARKSaurus22 Icons are coming for sure, sounds are less certain. They're hard to make and get.

@FishSticks For Utahraptor, yes. Aberrant Giganotosaurus is being TLC'd.

@THe Carnivores Rancher Utah is as uncommon as it's meant to be given its strength, but it should spawn in forests in general. As for dropping trophies, that is planned, but I need to figure out how to do configurable .ini options first that way people can turn that off if need be.

Do you have plans to make the Giga and Alpha Utah drop their vanilla counterparts trophy items? I would honestly like to replace the Raptor and Giga... but I would also like to eventually fight the bosses.

Do you plan to add more spawners to the Utah? I feel like it should have a bit more spawners, they are pretty dang rare. Maybe Mountains?

The Giga cannot be stunned by any arrows, but if you attack him with normal ammunition then he will get normal damage and the creature info says that you have to KO him normally and he will be tamed as a result, but that doesn't work.

Add unique icons for your Giga and Nanuq, more unique sounds for Nanuq, and unique egg colors for ALL creatures

The Utahraptor is amazing to use, the problem being is that getting close to it causes extreme lag for me. My settings are high and my PC can handle it but for some reason the Utahraptor is the only creature (so far) that's causing the lag but once ridden when the camera is away from the creature it's fine.

This mod looks absolutely stunning so far!! Fabulous work.

I absolutely love this mod, but I'm having some lag issues I thought I'd ask. Being near a utahraptor unmounted is exceptionally laggy, when I'm near other dinosaurs I don't get nearly as much lag. This might just be because of the complexness of the utahraptor model, but I thought I'd ask if you knew any way to resolve or lighten the issue? Thank you for your time haha

Don't worry about it! And that's perfect! I was looking at the rex the other day and thinking "This isn't that accurate now is it" XD I'm glad some modders (like yourself) are making more accurate dinosaur models like these

Apologies for the delay, everyone! Due to some IRL issues, the mod has been put on hiatus for a little, but I'm still working on it whenever I can.

There will be a hotfix coming soon that will fix several issues, including Nanuq overspawn in Ext. Snowdome, as well as allowing GIganotosaurus regium to be cryopoddable.

@KADalicious Thank you! Giga had an animation bug that was affecting it in that way, but that will be fixed in the upcoming patch.

@Arian 2 Thank you so much! I rather agree in all honesty; There are several updates coming to alleviate that, including an overall Utahraptor visual TLC, texture updates for the Giga, and more. THe big thing is I baked the textures at a lower resolution at what they should have been, resulting in a lot of blurriness that shouldn't quite be there.

Is a more accurate T-rex planned?

Please can something be done to make it possible to either soul ball or cryo pod the Giganotosaurus Rexium. Very Very frustrating this is not possible
