So the new units will only be in the warhammer 3 mod when it starts, then this will be ported over and maybe some changes + the new units will start.

No date on when or how long it will take.

I will no longer be making any updates in any of my mods, as i will focus entirely on porting them to Warhammer 3.

However i was apparently working on additional units for the araby, but could not get the animation to work due to models the units use, it's glitching.

So cool! How about some kind of eunuch warriors maybe modeled after the unsullied from GOT, I always thought they were very Araby themed and there are eunuch warriors in the old lore for araby. But yeah these guys are very cool!

I can see that the Vanguard (halberds are showing up on campaign for me as "Caliphate of Araby") but not the Sultan Guards.

Oh well that sounds geat. actually this mod was just a request, given that someone was already making mods for araby (that i had actually no idea with) i will stop here.

Also that would be lovely mate, i have just been waiting for someone who would offer to make SFO versions out of my units. cheers

Loved your mods mate. I have a huge modlist with sfo and ovn factions could use some help (because the orster is cool but they have a bit less units obviously). I was thinking about adding new units and your and houise's mods came out so you can imagine my surprise :dd. Please doN't make any units housie already did so you guys can add more :d. Also, if you want, I may be able to make sfo submods for you later. You can add me and ask me whatever you want about it.

I am currently working on more units for the araby, i was planning on doing a janissary but i can't find the iconic janissary hat anywhere in the workshop even the closest look for it in which would make the unit look like a janissary. i will probably only make units for araby for now and stop there. since warhammer III is about to be released in a month

Great Mod! I think you should do more units that OvN team has still left out like Janissaries, Mamelukes and Camel Caravans. Also I think you should consider the names of the units, maybe Palace Guard / Palace Guards (Halberds) or Harem Guards might also work.

i've thought about it long and hard, i have decided to keep it as lore as possible. and make the unit only buildable in araby.

since they're basically late game units with 50+ melee and defense stats. should the empire wish to recruit them they have to conquer the settlement.

I can't really make them as mercs as you mentioned since they're called the Sultans Guard. basically equivalent to queens guard

Well I hope it does not get added in the main mod here, as why would Sultan Guards leave the Sultan to become mercs for countries/factions they wanna fight & claim land from?

So if that is a thing people want, I suggest a 2nd (sub-mod) for this one.

Instead of the port idea, although that sounds good as well. Maybe instead of every empire port what about tilean, estalian and Marienburg ports as they're known for mercenaries.

That sounds good, if Al Hakkik isn't enough you could also make it a landmark in all cities sacred to araby, as well as Sudenberg.

You have a point, I'll consider 2 options. For either they be recruited at the empire ports with a cap of let's say maybe 5 or 10 units max or the al halikk one

Could you make that a separate mod? That makes Araby less unique. How about make it a landmark at Al Hakikk where the Empire/Southern realms can recruit them.

Have you tried this mod? ER: Kislev Reborn it reworks kislev and adds Tzarina Katarin Bokha. and a bunch of units similar to the upcoming warhammer III

For Kislev, I was dissapointed by the lack of strong ungol units. Maybe Ungol Berserkers? Great weapon, armor piercing units with the ability "rage" similar to marauder berserkers. They would have higher armor piercing, more armor, and higher melee defense in comparison to Marauder bersekers. But, slower and less melee attack.
