Since this mod has been reported working in 1.5 I added it to the No Version Warning-mod

Just letting folks know, this still works just fine in current RimWorld (1.5.4409). RimSort marks it as out of date but it can be safely ignored. I just did a whole playthrough using this mod from start to finish with zero issues.

@Lurmey , no . Tree replanting has been intergrated into vanilla since 1.3

That bug has been patched @『 』

Using this mod prevents harvesting ambrosia if you have the tree cutting forbidden precept. Unsure if you can change it or if it's a hard-coded part of being able to uproot.
Lurmey 21 Jan, 2022 @ 10:07am
Does this require ideology or not work retroactively on existing ambrosia? I can't use it on a wild ambrosia patch.
Katte  [author] 12 Jan, 2022 @ 10:28pm
ah i would like to point out, ambrosia lasts a maximum of 48 days from its spawning, meaning statistaically youd get 4 harvests, more likely because you dont have instant in tick harvesting you can get 2-3 harvests maximum. this mod is balanced in a way that only makes harvesting ambrosia require less time walking across a map and less microing, but does shift that micro to replanting the ambrosia.

the goal of this mod was to keep ambrosia as vanilla as possible, but if other users want that ill think about makign an alternative version that rebalances them
farq4 11 Jan, 2022 @ 3:35am
you can give it chance of like 40% it will survive the move or any other downside like growth reset or maybe negative growth value, so it will take extra 4-5 days before it produces ?

Just wanted to point out that there are real world "equivalents" to these plants that taste great! -but die outside of their very (annoyingly) specific areas. That is the same reason nobody can really farm them. because they'd make a great product! They just cant be moved. huckleberries are like this. That all being said, I completely understand the practical reason for having a mod like this XD. Just thought that fact might be interesting.
