Does this cap at 14 defined spawn zones? I put down 160 zones but it seems like only the first 14 are ever saved after i do that when I generate the string.

@acegamer69 if you want a simpler one, there's a CTool NPC spawner as well as Entity Group Spawner (EGS), though EGS doesn't have respawning. Just spawns a lot of one thing.

The spawnflag for the Medic gives them the outfit, but not the healing capabilities. I don't know how to fix this. Besides that, this addon is great!

I it might not be removing an NPC if they if they're close to the spawner itself, regardless of distance from players.

Also, is there any way to force it to despawn things outside the despawn radius without deleting the spawner? (Lots of NPCs aren't getting despawned for some reason, causing very gradual but inevitable FPS loss)

also, in response to Khy166 (for future people), if you want to spawn custom npcs you just need to copy an npc to clipboard and paste it in, it will paste the npc ID

havent had much time to use it, but its really robust for a "simple" spawner. if its still being updated tho, id love to see a max total npc option

Add a function to make zones that will despawn NPCs. For example, the Cube spawns around the player, zombies, and when the player enters this zone, the spawn stops and vice versa. When the player leaves the area, the cube will start spawning NPCs again.

this tool uses the "npc_maker" entity, yet we still can't make it so the npcs have a spawn limit, please?

I like the idea of the mod, especially the way it can spawn NPC in the area, which is neat!

But I wish the whole UI for the spawner can be more user-friendly, such as the drop-down menu for NPC and weapon types. Also, the option to save each spawner's setting would be great.

the addon definitely lacks a limited number of NPCs. example: 40 NPC appearances and then the appearance ends

This is a really neat spawner mod, i might even prefer it over the other. Though a lot of npc weapon mods do not have a way i know of to show their proper name to input into a spawner, could there be a way (say with the tool) to find the weapons and show their names to use?

or the tool could work more similar to a wiremod hydraulic where you define the space, maybe adjust all the settings in the tool, then click again after setting the spawn area up to spawn the spawner prop with those settings

If I make the spawner create a weapon, the weapon and the spawner are 'linked', i.e. it won't create another even if said weapon was picked up by a player or entity, can something be done about this?

i should add that yes, spawner active was ticked
regardless of whether it was ticked when duped, or not ticked when duped and you just manually turn it on it just does not spawn anything

hey so it seems like dupe spawners are bugged
they work fine at first, but if you change map or restart the map, and then spawn it in, it seems like they don't spawn anything
