the upper grav gen must be at +1 g
the one under the track at -1 g
place a grav generator above the track and set it to -1,0 G
place a grav generator underneath the track and put it to +1,0 G
now you have to change the height of both so the border between -1 and +1 is like 2 meters above the track.
now you build a few podracers and place artificial mass blocks on the frond, back, left and right of the pod. and only one thruster underneath it to steady it. now you dont have to worry about the height you are flying because you will always hover at 2 meters above the ground. makes the racing a lot more fun.
As far as I'm aware, he just about manages to do this for a living. Youtube channels can earn money per view. Probably significantly less per hour than a regular job with the average view count he's got at the moment, but hey, I'd rather spend a 14 hour day on Space Engineers and video editing than an 8 hour day at a call centre.
