@Aelanna Hi! I see from the change notes that the mod has been updated to support Combat Extended 1.5 but there are no patches for it neither ingame nor in the mod files

Interesting, because I am getting errors about it even though I'm not using CE (so it shouldn't even be getting loaded). It actually might just be a warning though, so I'll take another look at it on my end (hard to tell since my log is super long so I can't see it in-game).

@AerosAtar - Thank you for the report! However, as you can verify on their public repo, the field for defining draw size in Combat Extended's GunDrawExtension is indeed "DrawSize" [github.com]. You can also verify this by looking at official Combat Extended patches for the vanilla game [github.com]. Finally, fields on ThingComps and DefModExtensions are case-sensitive and also verified against the classes they resolve to, so if I had written the field incorrectly then it would have thrown red errors when loading.

Thus, no, I don't really want to "fix" that. ;)

Your CE_Melee patch file contains at least one instance where you have used <DrawSize> instead of <drawSize>. You probably want to fix that... ;)

Have a Royalty game where I set Hanna's Monoscythe to be one of the religious artifacts of my ideoligion - finally finished the quests to get it about 5 years into the game.

Legendary Monoscythe stats out at about 19.5 dps (41.3 per blade strike), and 100% armor penetration. So... that's kind of extreme. Good thing it's truly one of a kind in this case. :D

say miss aelanna, the eccentric haven being many years old, there must have been a member at least once that is a pure maniac for big weapons, must there be not? i would find it funny if there was an out of character bfg developed simply to give a big middle finger to the raiders, the design of which was abandoned and/or forgotten after the person was lost(be it to combat or lack of map reading skills) or calmed down

Jokes aside, the Geneva Conventions were written in an age where warfare still had an air of dignity and honor to it. Throughout both World Wars, medics usually carried a sidearm at the very least, and on certain fronts and against certain enemies, no mercy was expected. In the far future and on a remote rimworld, expecting observance of international laws of warfare from cannibal tribes and mechanoids is suicidal at best.

@Euphoric - The combat doctrine of The Eccentric's security forces focus on superior ranged firepower, mobility, and technological advantage that is meant to keep them from ever being pinned down in melee. This is why their combat uniforms sacrifice pure protection for reduced bulk and movement speed, they have highly advanced modulated shield belts, and why their armory is largely focused on ranged weapons of all roles. The M3 Rosethorn is the only standard-issue melee weapon as melee specialists such as Hanna are exceptionally rare and generally develop their own combat styles and weapon preferences.

I wonder. Doesn't Eccentric's staff use "standard issue" meele-focused weapons? That aren't side-arms of course. Or is Hanna the only weird one to use meele?

@Deep - Yes! As this mod just simply adds two additional weapons, it should be safe to add to an existing save.
