1) To open the palisade gates of vienna, you need to bring King Jan Sobieski III near it.
2) Graf Starhemberg is a cavalier unit. Once the palisade gates are opened, the green vienna defenders tend to pour out of it and wander eastward. I found Starhemberg therefore in the dock district in the east.
3) You will probably lose most of your units during the assault on the ottoman castle due to the sheer number of turkish unit counters (royal janissaries, imperial camels etc behind walls). So make sure to keep your 2 monks (1 missionary you start with, and 1 monk you liberate in the northern part of the map) ALIVE so that they can convert turkish units in the eastern countryside to help build up your army. Particularly, there is a barracks in the south east with lots of turkish units that can be individually lured out via conversion, just beware of the many hand cannoneers that make short work of converted infantry.

Probably not as the scenario is 5 years old now.

Great scenario. 2 ? 1. How do I cross the river? 2. How do get to the castle? It is surronded by ally walls that I can't get through.

It seemed to be well done, but unclear objectives ruined my experience.
I couldn't find the general, so everything ended in a Black death...
It's a bit sad...

cant play this. Cant talk with the general. I even did marco polo cheat to see where he is. Found him but cant get in the city. And i defeated the assault at the bridge and all the rest

We remember, in september, when the Winged Hussars arived!

I haven't played through this for 2 years so might not remember correctly but I think he's in the north-western part of the city and he's a cavalier. He might have a trigger that makes him wander around a bit though.

I hope someone can help me here, I defeated the assault at the bridge, and I now have to talk to the general for aid, (I don't remember his name off the top of my head) and I have no idea where he is. Any help on his location would be grand.

Make sure you read the instructions in game. They tell you

Not mentioned that the king shouldn't die, and it sure should have been. Objectives are sort of not clear at the beginning and you might get confused because some initially irrelevant areas in the map have been highlighted. Otherwise seems a fine campaign, but I didnt play again after the king died somewhere i wasnt watching and i didnt know he had to be alive.
