love the mod, but I noticed that Bulan's civilopedia entry is a straight-up copy of Ahmad Shah Durrani's from your Afghanistan mod and that Khazaria's civilopedia entry doesn't appear for me at all

followers don't emigrate to the capital.
atria 15 May, 2016 @ 4:45pm
Does the Khagan Bek have to be standing next to the cities themselves, or just the borders?

One of the decisions causes a CTD with the Community Balance Patch.

Hey JFD, love your work. Do you plan on making Kokturks(Göktürks) under the rule of Ashina dynasty?
snackerfork 7 Dec, 2014 @ 11:43pm
The Khagan Bek's abilities don't seem to work - I didn't get experience from newly bought mounted units in a city with a Khagan Bek in it and it didn't change any enemy cities to my religion. Does this mod have any known incompatibilites with other mods that could be causing this?
JFD  [author] 17 Sep, 2014 @ 1:04pm
@diagotsumax I'll look into it then
daigotsumax 17 Sep, 2014 @ 12:37pm
Cheers JFD - I know this through reading other comments. However, I didn't get any notifications when conquering enemy cities, or see a boost in growth. They definitely had members of my main religion (Judaism), 2 in the first one and a majority in the second one. Didn't happen.
JFD  [author] 16 Sep, 2014 @ 12:30pm
@diagotsumax It's not a full citizen you get when they emigrate; rather, a growth boost.
daigotsumax 16 Sep, 2014 @ 11:56am
Yeah, looks broken to me unfortunately. No emigration at all.
alexbeelin 29 Aug, 2014 @ 10:59pm

Mount and blade probaly got it from this real life civ same with fire and sword becuase crimea was the crimerian khanate wich this civ in real life owned so mount and blade took it a inspirasion and khanate is a nation ruled by a khan by the way derp elite khergit khanate does not exist this does so it is not the khergit khanate
Dude5580 24 Jun, 2014 @ 1:53pm
In mount and blade its the Khergit Khanate...

@JFD ok
JFD  [author] 20 Jun, 2014 @ 11:13am
@roneneyal1 I'm working on a State Religion mod, which will make some changes to some of my mods to reflect the new system.
roneneyal1 20 Jun, 2014 @ 11:10am
@JFD oh cant you somehow mod it in? (I'm sorry I'm not very familiar with CIV modding...)
yk 20 Jun, 2014 @ 7:17am
wow! Ossome!
JFD  [author] 20 Jun, 2014 @ 6:13am
@roneneyal1 You can't adopt a religion in this game.
roneneyal1 20 Jun, 2014 @ 5:50am
I think that it should get rather a UA for adopting a religion from the world as your religion, with all its bonuses, But cant found religion, When it adopts it gets a 30 turn golden age... It will be more historically correct... and after adopting religion, it gets a +1 population to all cities...
Darthlox 19 Jun, 2014 @ 7:22pm
Great mod and awesome civ!
Seiliu 19 Jun, 2014 @ 1:41pm
Not bad,but not usefull for pople who dont exploit religion.
NedStarkDies 19 Jun, 2014 @ 1:14pm
This is really great!
[KOS]MasterHack 19 Jun, 2014 @ 11:50am
Not bad

@Khorne Dog lol kike, u mad
Cao Cao Mengde 19 Jun, 2014 @ 1:26am
@Khorne Dog

One of the main reasons the Khazar people converted to Judaism was also because of the larger trade and mercantile opportunities that came from being able to trade with both the Christian West and the Moslem East. You can't always lay blame to modern stereotypes. :)
JFD  [author] 18 Jun, 2014 @ 1:08pm
@Khorne Dog Jewish people have a history of filling financial roles within society. It's not an unsubstantiated stereotype. The implications of the UA are a little graver.
Doombull 18 Jun, 2014 @ 1:01pm
Synagogue unlocked at Currency? You are aware of the implications of that, right?
JFD  [author] 18 Jun, 2014 @ 10:51am
@Putidri It's not a direct population change, but rather a growth boost. You get an amount of food equal to 33% of what one population is worth X the number of followers.
Putidri 18 Jun, 2014 @ 10:46am
Yeah those notifications do pop up, but there's no +pop in my capital. I'll re-install the mod
JFD  [author] 18 Jun, 2014 @ 10:27am
@Putidri If you got a notification, you got the emigration. Otherwise, something is not working correctly.
Putidri 18 Jun, 2014 @ 10:22am
I'm not getting any emigrated population in my capital. Does it take a while for the migrants to appear there or is something wrong?
JFD  [author] 18 Jun, 2014 @ 8:17am
Unlike the Byzantium and the Celts (less so, but faith is woefully less useful without your own religion), you do not need to found a religion to get the Khazar benefits. And the fact that you need to be at war with the city owner stabilises the power of the Khagan Bek.
jake 18 Jun, 2014 @ 8:09am
I feel like this mod is a bit unbalanced. It's completely based off religion. What if you don't get a religion? Even faith based civs like the Celts and the Byzantines have unique units/buildings that will work without religion. Khagan Beks also seem very overpowerd. They are great generals with the abilities of infinite great profits. Maybe if you removed their religious aspects they might seem a little more balanced?

Great mod overall, but there are some defenite balance issues.
JFD  [author] 18 Jun, 2014 @ 7:41am
@BlouBlou None of my civs replace a vanilla civ anymore, since the latest patch allowed one to add custom music without replacing any civ. So this mod just adds the Khazars to the list.
BlouBlou 18 Jun, 2014 @ 7:37am
@JFD

Hi JFD, great work again!,

just a question,

back in the days , custom civ were always replacing an existing civilization. Is this still the case? Does it still replace an existing civilization or it add to the list?
