@Spocku
Yes
Spocku 5 Aug @ 10:26am
does this work with "not so smooth voxels"?
Mad.Maverick 2 May @ 10:16pm
Does this mod work with the Better Resources mod?
wayneofwilson 30 Mar @ 1:39pm
Does this mod affect the deposits on modded planets?
enenra  [author] 30 Mar @ 12:24pm
You can add it to an existing world but only voxels that have not been altered will be affected.
JackPani 30 Mar @ 11:49am
Can I add it to an existing world or do I need to create a new one for procedural stuff?
enenra  [author] 6 Mar @ 1:04am
yes, the spots will appear on the surface
Vargali 5 Mar @ 3:14pm
also for those who prefer a detector mod, i would recommend Vas's ore detector... really good for deep ores..
Vargali 5 Mar @ 3:13pm
quick question, with the ores generally deeper, do you still get the tell, tell visual effect of ore from the surface.... ie color change in terrain.... did not see this posted....
enenra  [author] 13 Nov, 2024 @ 3:00am
It shouldn't break anything but they're not supposed to be used together since vanilla ore distribution already does what this mod does.
Sterling Phoenix 12 Nov, 2024 @ 9:18pm
Imma go out on a limb and assume that this is compatible with your other mod, "AQD - Vanilla Ore Distribution", right?
JWickScari 12 Nov, 2024 @ 5:13pm
Does this work on a existing saves because I’m using this with a mod to increase detector ranges and can’t pickup any signals on planets.
titanius anglesmith 9 Nov, 2024 @ 6:45pm
dose it need a new map ? works with modded ores ?
Eternal Serenity 9 Nov, 2024 @ 10:48am
can you consider making one? I once spent 12 hours looking for a platinum asteroid in my space pod and found nothing on normal density.
enenra  [author] 9 Nov, 2024 @ 10:14am
No. Asteroid ore generation is fundamentally completely different.
Eternal Serenity 9 Nov, 2024 @ 10:07am
Do you have a version of this that works with asteroids too?
Narlros 26 Oct, 2024 @ 5:43pm
Dose this work on modded planets and on pregenerated worlds
enenra  [author] 26 Oct, 2024 @ 2:27am
That's not how modding works. You have to make a local mod, make your changes, then upload it to the workshop and add it to your game / your server. Also bear in mind the Keen mod policy. https://spaceengineers.wiki.gg/wiki/Modding/Official_Mod_Policy

@enenra Hi mr. I really appreciate for this mod. I have a question I create a game co op playing with my friends. But when I edit GenericDeeperOres.cs file in content folder it does not apply for my friends they have to edit as I do with this file otherwise they cant see ores as I edit,is there any solution for this ?
enenra  [author] 24 Oct, 2024 @ 10:30am
no
BooseOG 24 Oct, 2024 @ 8:55am
Is there away to edit settings? Edited - removed caps
enenra  [author] 16 Oct, 2024 @ 1:32pm
This moves vanilla ores deeper on vanilla and modded planets. Vanilla ore distribution moves vanilla ores deeper on vanilla planets and also changes which vanilla ores are available for which vanilla planets.
Rían 16 Oct, 2024 @ 12:48pm
Can you clarify the difference between this and your Vanilla Ore Distribution mod? I'm struggling to understand. Thanks!
enenra  [author] 11 Oct, 2024 @ 10:25am
Yes, it does. Highly recommend the combination.
RumpKisser96 11 Oct, 2024 @ 9:08am
dumb question, but does this work with the seismic scanner mod?
enenra  [author] 22 Feb, 2024 @ 2:16am
Thanks, I'll look into it.
enenra  [author] 10 Jan, 2024 @ 9:35am
Well, the change is pretty straightforward in SBC. This mod does it differently, but that's just for compatibility - if you do it for your own world then that's overkill. I'd recommend you join the KeenSWH discord if you want to learn modding - that's were most active modders are active and can give advice.
max_janszen 10 Jan, 2024 @ 9:27am
this is amazing so far, i love it! can we get tips or a version on making the ores bigger and deeper? like triple the depth and 5-10x the deposit size?

much love, thank you so much for making this
Kwivur 17 Dec, 2023 @ 4:15pm
Does this mod work with Better Stone?
enenra  [author] 30 Nov, 2023 @ 8:31am
Only vanilla ores are affected.
Solyara 30 Nov, 2023 @ 3:38am
Is it compatible with industrial overhaul?
Ullyr_Atreides 20 Sep, 2023 @ 1:12am
Will this add Uranium and Platinum back from vanilla nerf to planets? I'm sure it's in the description somewhere but I am tired and terrible with technology so ELI5 please lol.

I want it to be real like Uranium and Platinum exist on planets but you have to dig deep for it.
enenra  [author] 13 Sep, 2023 @ 1:09pm
@Jay

No, it doesn't. You're confusing this mod with another one of my mods - Vanilla Ore Distribution. And that mod does it very much intentionally. It's also expanded on in that mod's description.
Jay 13 Sep, 2023 @ 8:39am
This mod makes all asteroids contain the same 5 resources : silver iron nickle ice silicon.
I mean every single asteroid, you won't find anything else.
Makes space mining and asteroid exploration kinda useless...
enenra  [author] 2 Sep, 2023 @ 9:34am
No it does not, else it would be stated in the description. :-)
bluerat 1 Sep, 2023 @ 1:15pm
prob silly question, but does this mod also redistribute ores across the planets like your non-deep version? compliments on all your mods!
enenra  [author] 13 Jun, 2023 @ 7:33am
It will never work with asteroids because the way their ore generation works is fundamentally different. We have no control over placement or depth
Dayquil 12 Jun, 2023 @ 8:47pm
does it happen to work with asteroids yet? or no.
The Stranger 3 Jun, 2023 @ 10:40am
thank you
enenra  [author] 3 Jun, 2023 @ 10:34am
They will spawn as normal without any change in depth.
The Stranger 3 Jun, 2023 @ 9:26am
so they wont spawn or just not at moded depths?
enenra  [author] 3 Jun, 2023 @ 2:08am
No.
The Stranger 2 Jun, 2023 @ 3:36pm
does this work with modded ores aswell?
enenra  [author] 2 Jun, 2023 @ 1:58pm
Yes, but none of the currently visible voxels will be changed.
Mathantastic 2 Jun, 2023 @ 1:01pm
is it compatible with already existing worlds?
enenra  [author] 1 Jun, 2023 @ 8:42am
No, what ore is available on a planet is not changed, only what depth it occurs at.
Into 1 Jun, 2023 @ 8:01am
Does this mod ad platin and uran to planets? (400m)
kinngrimm 17 Mar, 2023 @ 9:16am
Is ther a versiion out there which at the same time reduces the amount of ore fields drasticly but also increases their size accordingly?
enenra  [author] 9 Feb, 2023 @ 10:20am
They're always starting at the same depths. Limitation of how I set it up, unfortunately.
