There's two types of things in this game; things that are designed to be obtuse, and things that are not, yet they are sometimes obtuse or hard to see because of how the game was designed visually, so it's more of an unintentional side-effect or something they overlooked.
Most of what you included falls into the second category, but the tinted rocks are meant to be hard to get. If you don't get them you don't lose the game in the same way if you don't see an enemy you will get hit, or if you cant see your familiars from all the chaos it can get you killed.
And anyone who still wants the tinted rock grunge mod can simply get it as an individual download.
