hello i found a way to change normal stuff with community edition stuff
all you have to do is like you would add strains to the fighting art deck, you take out the kingdom death monster archive sack replace the things you want(for example rawhide whip with the CE one) reset the archive and put the sack back in with the changes youve done)

this even works with the rule book! (sometimes you have to try a few times to make the script work but it will work once it well works)

i wouldnt recommend replacing the settlement locations because they dont work because the 1.6 changed the materials and locations of some gear and keep in mind 1.6 added, removed or changed locations of some gear when you decide to add CE to your archive
also keep in mind that CE buffed showdown rewards for some monsters like screaming antelope but you can lock the rule book and write on it to change those back

Some assets seem to not load. Specifically, Alison the Twilight Knight. Dunno if she was removed, or just messed up.

Seconding @Nachoo's thoughts. Beyond further implementing community content like CCGs, a way to enable Fen's 5-6 player rules (or at-least the player so it can be handled manually) would be wonderful. Also, maybe double-check the data on some of the module uploads, had a few issues in the Allison one at last check, but love the work overall.

@erosas Use the "Timeline" button at the upper left portion of the screen and keep track of your survivors with the big board at the bottom of the table.

is there a way to add more player cards to the board? cause its possible to adjust the game for 5-6 players but i dont know how to add more of the player thingos

I'm interested in knowing if, by any chance, the mod will be still worked on?
I've seen that certain expansions and future content will not be added, which is no problem tbh considering they are working on a sim.

But in my case, I don't have the money to buy the base game, even less the expansions, so at least being able to play the currently allowed content is great for me, but I've seen people experiencing bugs here and there, so I'm curios about that.

Quick thing! Wanted to know how one would add in stuff like new gear cards and the like so they interact with the battleui, stats, etc. I wanna make a seperate save for me and some friends' homebrew stuff

Was a tutorial ever made for using Unlocked Mode for adding Expansions mid-campaign with the expansion deck?

When you add "Spidicules" expansion, the story event "Young Rivals" should replace "Endless Screams", but "Endless Screams" are still apearing at the timeline

Other expansion that not only adds, but replaces events is the "Slenderman" one, but this one is working fine

Poots, and the APG team as a whole explicitly asked us not to publish anything towards GCE and other future expansions on TTS, but won't go after what's currently released. It's a logical response with the Simulator being worked on (And now containing all released official expansions, outside most White Box stuff and the GCE which will be coming Q1 2024)

They also shown at least twice interest in allowing homebrew content on the simulator down the line, so while the Simulator is still very clunky ('specially when used to TTS..) they're definitely pushing it

It is a bit sad about the Gambler's Chest. I was really looking forward to it. I hope Poots changes his mind, a lot of us can't afford KDM but would invest in physical copies in a heartbeat if we had the money. I've tried their sim and it's just awkward to play.
Overall, I'm just less likely to buy the Gambler's Chest if I can't play it on TTS.

Guys a quick question, why is bone sickle and bone pickaxe frail in this mod and in Misterslack's I have the 1.5 edition and I dont think they are frail unless I have a misprint...whats up with that?

Once they have the automation this mod has I'll be interested in the official one. Until then it's too clunky to play elsewhere

For a discount KD:M experience, APG is working hard on their own simulator which, for a price that definitely isn't nothing but definitely is wayyy under the price of a physical set will allow you to play some virtual KD:M.

I do believe they deserve a chance. They're even opened to the idea of finding ways to incoporate homebrew content in the Sim down the line, which is neat.

This table still has a ton of content even if it won't include GCE ! I'm kind of sad about it too since I was looking forward to it, but I don't want to face any legal stuff, and just think they deserve the spotlight since they began working on an in-house solution for online KD:M :)

That kinda makes me sad cuz i don't make enough to own this game let alone buy that expansion. oh the joy of fast food so i'm using tts till i can manage it through savings. i hope they change that stance after so long. Maybe enough sales.

Yes also having the Spawn issue where it throws an error and deletes all of the cards/achievements/injuries/disorders, etc. Caught it accidentally thankfully so I was able to go back and correct it.

How do you access the "Create Your Own Figurine" archive?

I also have the same error when I spawn a sheet:

Step to reproduce
1. Spawn a sheet with figurine in it
2. Delete the box without unpacking the survivor
3. Spawn a sheet again
4. Get the error "Error in Script (Global): chunk_3(10737, 10-54): Unknown object 'Player Figurine Archive'" and all the Fighting Arts/Disorders/Abilities/Impairments records is deleted

Some case that I had try:
1. Spawn a sheet with no figurine > follow the above step; no error
2. Spawn asheet with no figurine > put some figurine in first > follow the above step; got error but the records still the same
3. Spawn a sheet with figurine > take out the figurine first > follow the above step; no error and figurine still spawn in the box
4. Spawn a sheet with figurine > take out the figurine first > put new figurine in > follow the above step; got error but the records still the same

So prolly something to do with the linked player figurine, hopefully this is useful, and thank you for all your great work!

It should get all the new White Box content at some point, and I may work on the new waves of Expansions if I get my hands on the necessary assets, but if we're just talking about the game without promo cards, it's very much still up to date.

Hello, I have an error that always appears when I want to spawn a player sheet.
This error erases me everything it contains and it would be due to the figurine

Yeah, I figured as much, since everything works just fine but it was disabled directly in the code. Just wanted a fresh experience (even though it is not the intended one). A thousand thanks for the amazing work you have done! This is literally the best way to play KD:M.

I wish to remind that the CE content that's currently in the mod was NOT updated for KD:M 1.6, and it is the reason it was disabled from the automatic campaign creator.

If you're wondering what you just did, you simply uncommented the line of the script that enables Community Edition content. When a line is commented the code behaves as if that line doesn't exist at all.

Then you replaced the decks that the script loads from the Kingdom Death: Monster Archive . Hopefully this helps.

After that, grab the Kingdom Death: Monster Archive bag from the big black box, located top left of the Showdown Board. Then simply pull out whatever you want to replace from the Kingdom Death: Monster bag, and grab whatever you just removed from the Community Edition Archive . Drop that in the new bag.

Right click Kingdom Death: Monster Archive and select Reset . Now drop the edited Kingdom Death: Monster bag on top of the Kingdom Death: Monster Archive .

Save the game, and then press Campaign and start a new campaign. All of the community edition cards are now automatically included, and the gear grid works as normal.

I figured it out. If anyone else is wondering, you need to open Modding dropdown menu from the top, select Scripting and copy all of the LUA script to a text editor: CTRL+A in the LUA script window then CTRL+V in text editor of your choosing. I recommend Notepad++.

After that, search for function Expansion.Init(saveState) .

There you will find -- CommunityEdition, row, if you're using Notepad++ it's on the row 285.
Remove the two dashes ( -- ) from the front of the CommunityEdition . Copy all of the script in your text editor and paste it into the LUA script window. Press Save & Play from the top left corner.

Is there a way to manually add CE content to the game? When I edit the Kingdom Death: Monster Archive, placing a Settlement Location fails to find the deck for some reason.

Great table!
However, I cannot seem to see the cards in my innovation deck, they just come up as blank cards. Any idea what I can do to fix this?
