Not really I never changed the name and will add more as I play but it works steam is wierd about changing names in zomboid and have to do it every time but it works

Is this still getting updated? Just wondering since the title still says beta.
Really like the idea and a lot of the changes, couldn't find any other mod that does what this one does, would be great if you kept updating it!

Thats odd I will look into it but both fxclothes and fx bagz approch the changes in diffrent ways it wierd they share the same bug

It seems to work well, however seems to break the admin menu option "Items List Viewer". Disabling FxClothes and FxBagZ brought it back.

I can confirm a lot of Brita's models have masking problems and may produce invisible or transparent holes on the player model while wearing certain items. Your mod is for sure not the cause.

Also thanks for the mod, will try to break my server with it.

@krilton It a problem with modded clothing and modded shoes depending on the modders they may or may have not masked correctly their models and or there are areas added by other mods which they do not cover causing these invisible spot on clothing with certain combinations. I looked into fixing it because some people thought it was my skin mod causing which was very unlikely but yeah I found a fix but I have to modify textures to their mods to do so.

@pumpkerno I used Item tweaker api for this one it makes it simple to modify and all you have to do is to define the original name and values. You can poke around the files that come with this mod and you figure it out. but you could use the code from another mod structure and alter but by doing so you limit the compatibility of the mod

Oh nice, by the way how did you made the core mod to work with each mod? I've a template made for me to edit Brita's armor (which I'm doing, currently I have 1500 lines of coding done) and I was wondering how do they make the core coding to make it work with other mods too. Do you get it by using other mods of creating it yourself?

Speaking of holes, durability and protection. I found a dress on a zombie that had a hole on the back but it didn't register as having one. I believe its condition had dropped some but just a funny thing I noticed.

@Pumpkernno Zomboid rolls a chance for clothing to be damaged based on protection chance and that the number of hits they can take. Annoyingly clothes holes is based of getting hit at all so something could have max durability and 10 holes......

Hello! I was wondering, how does the durability stat works in clothing? Since in the file it says max durability 10, which I was wondering what does it exactly mean?
From what I can guess it should be 10 points of damage before being worn?

@1st.Fleet I figured out the individual blood location issue I asked you about.

So when you note each location, you do the following: Command("ItemName_Here","WhereBloodGoes","Location1;Location2;Location3");

I never agreed with things like a tanktop protecting the upper arms. So if I wanted to change that, I went to the item's script location and altered it that way. But if a clothing mod gets updated, those changes will be reverted therefore I wanted to use your method for altering.

Thx for giving me inspiration!! You ROCK!!!

P.S. I did not use my primary game.... as I would die from the destruction that would\could happen from improperly placed code.

@1st.Fleet Is there a way to add individual blood locations, upper leg and lower leg, in one line?
I'm tinkering and I got the body location to work but the blood location isn't. It errors out and everything the character has on is gone but revert back and all is well. I'm stumped.

Confirming the issue of the mod not saving due to it turning into a red 'url' instead. I believe the mod ID is incorrect, as when trying to load the mod, it does not match other mods. Typical convention is "Mod Name [modID]" and this one shows "FX Clothes " instead. [http//steametcetcetc]

I'm having a similar issue to Fist, where if I load this mod in my server list it will not load it, and instead return a red "url" tag in the mod list.

hello! if you're suffering from the same bug i was that wouldn't let you use this mod, open the mod.info and remove the line "url=https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2723261130" .

Just wondering, has this last update altered the way the mod works? I've noticed that some tweaks, ex: swing speed on gloves, is gone and the regular boots are pre-tweak.

yeah havent crashed or anything just saw when i was adding a few new mods @ the same time as this updated, that the original fx clothes I had enabled was now disabled and had a new name.

Well it was brought to my attention there was to id entries in the mod it was a minor fix planning on adding support to alot of other shoe mods as well as looking in to clothing box redux as far as i know it works but need to test

By the by you have two IDs in your mod.info. From what I'm seeing it's prioritizing the second one, but I'm not 100%. And the modid can't have spaces.

@krilton you can get mod manager mod with a gear as the icon but it let you see at the bottom what mod is modifying said item or the on that is taking priority
