About that WASDQE movement... I'm running 540m trains on that particular map, yea, no. I'm not really that bothered about it, just thought to include that point in case it wasn't intentional

Ahh yup Im sorry, I was forgot to change the availability here because the person who commissioned this just want to change the years after its uploaded.

That view caused by custom cam, so when the train is reversed you have to change the camera using change camera button. You can move the camera with W, A, S, D, Q, E button.

That explains a few things. I didn't recognize those .mdl files as valid car data sheets, and holy, what did you cram into them? I also messed up by believing the 1948 availibility date on the steam page since you changed it to be 1954. While looking for the availibility, I noticed that the "nhcoachd.mdl" file lacks the word availability according to my ctrl-f, dunno which car it's supposed to be, but it might not be a complete car.

Also, while putting them behind the vanilla jets, I couldn't get to the front view and it generally looks like the camera always goes for car 1 even though my train was a push-pull driving "backwards", so my default perspective was looking at the coupler to the rear EP5. I guess it's intentional that the seat perspective override the vanilla look out the front, though if you're bored enough, I personally would appreciate the possibility of disabling these perspectives...

The vehicles files is not in that folder, its in 2723625594\res\models\model\vehicle\train\ and for the asset is in 2723625594\res\models\model\asset the construction files is just for the asset.

I don't know which parameters you adjusted, but the thing that strikes me as odd is that there are only two files in the ".../steamapps/workshop/content/1066780/2723625594" folder that fit the format of vehicle data, those two are the files "nhcoacha.con" and "nhcoachb.con", which are located in the ".../steamapps/workshop/content/1066780/2723625594/res/construction/asset" folder, which seems strange to me as this only enables two coaches and does so as assets, not usable cars. if there should be a ".../steamapps/workshop/content/1066780/2723625594/res/construction/vehicles" folder with the vehicle files, it doesn't exist on my computer, and yes, I unsubscribed and resubscribed just before starting to write this comment...

Thank you for your information. I've just checked it and I found the parameters numbers in .con files is not changed yet all of them is 1 it should be from 0 to 6. I fixed it now its working fine

Is this just my steam being fucky or have the actual wagons and most of the assets just vanished? In my mod folder there curiously under construction only an asset folder with two files: nhcoacha.con and nhcoachb.con; mysteriously enough, the assets only load for the first and second coach (coach with baggage and normal coach) with the other assets throwing an error of "this construction is empty"...

I was thinking it would be odd for the New Haven to have sleepers given its short mainline but I guess they're really for interchanging with the Pennsylvania Railroad or New York Central.

These are lovely, but they were likely designed for speeds up to 145kph (90mph) or more, with the New Haven’s prevailing track speed of 127kph (79mph), which was likely more advisory pre-Penn Central.
