Another thing that I noticed is that my team members cannot be killed. At first I was rather impressed with my playing skills, but then started to notice that there were some engagements that should have resulted in casualties on my team. To be sure I walked up on a couple of enemies with my team leader and let both of them unload a couple of magazines into my guy and nothing happened. It's like I'm in god mode. I've gone through the options and can't see anything that would account for this.
However, the new missions don't work correctly in COOP(listen server). Client Players spawn under the ground or in the air when the missions start. https://i.imgur.com/XdMkQmV.png
Thank goodness the AI skill is so low; in the original games you had a "danger" indicator to compensate =].
But I also have serious troubles loading the missions. If I do the default way:
Server browser > Host Server > Host Server (Select LAN or Internet) > > This kicks you back to Multiplayer menu. There's not even a mention in the RPT file. Extremely frustrating.
My fix was to Direct Connect to server IP 192.168.0.1 (Localhost). Arma would give an error, but let you proceed to the scenario selection menu. Note that you are not online, so SP only. Does anyone know a fix?
