Sorry for the inconvenience...
I made a mistake, but I think it would be better to write in capitals at the top of the description “If you install it, install it with Better Stone and place it on top”
I reread it and there is something in the installation text that says “it will not work properly without Better Stone”...?
Did I miss it because I translated it and the line breaks and sentences were messed up ......?
Maybe I was just being stupid...
I did a lot of research to try and save you the trouble.

The images were taken by playing a new game and having the iron ore in front of me.
The one on the right is without the mod and the one on the left is mined with only this mod.
Other than that, I just modified the English setting of the in-game language and made it Japanese.
It fits perfectly with what I have been hoping for, “It would be interesting if there was a need to dig deeper for ore mining, but I also want to limit the mining area like the Scarce Resources mod”.
However, I am experiencing the same phenomenon as the following person.
Iron has changed to Fe+, and when I mined, the name of the dropped rock and the item I got was S-10 magazine.
In case you are wondering, I am playing the game by adding fonts and converting English to Japanese.
I’ll have a look when I can, but it seems more likely you’ve got a corrupted mod download
The range of normal modded detectors is a bit misleading due to the horrible performance of the underlying voxel scanning code. At 700m on a planet, a scan cycle can take over a minute. And then another cycle fires off and takes over a minute again. That's why you sometimes see ore signals show up behind you. If you're moving fast, you might just fly over a deposit entirely without ever seeing a signal.
Reforged uses its own algorithm, and is basically instant. It's what I use to debug for myself.
The mod is definitely working fine. I was playing with it on a private server just last week. Make sure it's above anything else in the mod order that modifies voxels, and maybe delete the mod folder and let it redownload.
EDIT: Found several more types of ore from this mod in boulders. They're ALL dropping as S-10 ammo
To "merge" them I'd have to negotiate with the author of seams. The last few times I did that for other mods, I was politely told to go pound sand, so I wouldn't hold my breath.
That aside, I'm probably not going to do any significant updates to this mod. I'm working on an incompatible V2 that will move ore deposits around. In order to not break anyone's existing games, I'm going to leave this version alone.
(That may be a lot to ask, apologies, I just don't see any other workaround than merging them. =)
@Yakfly skill issue
I'd love a deep ores, scarce deposits, and smaller deposits mod to make it uber hardcore.
I have no idea how I would make that optional short of maintaining two separate mods, which I won't do, sorry.
Personally, I find the ingots I get from refining bulk stone sufficient.
Thanks for figuring out which mod was breaking!
This is only if the "cyberhounds" mod is above (below if DS) than this mod in the load order, this includes if it loaded in as a dependency
So if you subscribe to "populated worlds creatures Ai Enabled NPCs" for example, ensure you subscribe to "cyberhounds" as well to ensure it is in the proper load order

Don't know why that is, didn't think cyberhounds affected ore generation
So here is the world I am playing (you will have all the mods at the same time)

And here is where I found some Magnesium. I did not look for more since I was searching for some extra cobalt to build my platinum mine base
GPS:Mars Aki. (Si,Mg):1089347.35566343:139350.300643138:1610522.25303979:#FFF1DA75:
The Mg on Mars might be an outlier. It shouldn’t have any (surface rocks should have some) but it’s possible tiny deposits exist. Could you pass me the GPS to double check?
if not do you intend to do it? (i was thinking maybe like scarce resources where only the basic + ice and silver)
Also, I'm on mars getting some platinum and I noticed I did not find any cobalt at all ( i only did a quick search for it in the patches surrounding where I am mining platinum) but I did find a patch of Akimotoite (Si, Mg)
In your summary, you say that Mars has cobalt but no Magnesium is that a mistake in the summary?
No more choosing which of my favourite ore mod to use :D:steamthumbsup:
