I tested this recently (Made some changes to a couple of the ships) and I can verify that everything functions bug-free. Can't speak to the balance of the encounters, though.

Yes, and... I think so? These are meant to be somewhat more difficult than the guardian, but its been a long time since I've tried taking any of them on in a non-debug galaxy.

I'm also pretty sure at like 500km you can escape the hyperspace blocker of these. You may want to destroy a subsystem to install velocity bypass if you encounter this with all slots filled.

I could, but I don't think it would be a good idea. The fights wouldn't have much in the way of stakes because it's too easy to escape from fights in Avorion.

For point 1 - It shouldn't be possible to have a boss encounter in a sector if the quest is well designed. I'm not sure what quest you were doing.

For point 2 - you will never encounter the bosses if you use the travel command.

For point 3 - I realize that it's frustrating - it has happened to me a couple of times, but see the point above. If I have the mod active I don't build a base in the core (which is a bad idea anyways, imo, due to the new Xsotan mechanics) and when I am in the core I make sure to keep a group of well equipped ships nearby.

It's possible to remove hyper jump jammer from boss aura?
1) I was making quest for faction and in quest marked empty sector i encouner a boss and unable to escape from him.
2) For exampe if i just travel trough galaxy core i will travel by use empty secors for better hyper jump cooldown.
3) Or you suddenly encounter a boss while your ship have not good enough stats for kill a boss i really must loose my ship?

Huh. Thought I fixed that one. Make sure the server is using the latest version of ESCC (1.7.15) - I stopped updating the major versions to force updates because people kept complaining about it.

I personally enjoy the required tactic of hugging enemy ships so they change to avoidance mode instead of sprinting away. I use this to control ships I'm boarding all the time. But yeah, fights are not too hard, once you get some ships like mine it's normally like a 5-10 minute fight. The problem I'm having is shown below lol.

It just magically heals to full hp if I ignore it for a tiny bit?

Ok, will just have to save up for a few million Omni XD, on same server with Valkerion and we have the 8x difficulty mod and them with 8x hull takes hour to chase them down and kill with 300k omni lmao. It is what it is, keep up the great mods either way

Loving their difficulty, but can their AI be toned down so they dont burn 4000m/s forever unless you box them in/hug their hull?

I ended up reading the lua to see it was indeed guarantee at 22 jumps, after people in our server saying things like "I jumped 20 times and nothing happened". Guess we were just giving up a little too soon lmao!

Oh - they also only spawn inside the barrier. It's called Core Encounters for a reason!

No. The WHG does not have to be dead. However, you do have to have completed the story - so they will not spawn until you personally have defeated the WHG at least once. They follow similar rules for swoks / the ai - there's a 4% chance of them spawning in empty sectors each time you jump, and they will automatically spawn after 22 jumps.

Unlike swoks / the ai, they will not spawn in sectors with stations.

Having trouble spawning these guys on a server, does WHG have to be dead at the time of attempting to spawn these? Some of our players said no but if not that, not sure what stops them from spawning. Thanks!

I did try something in ESCC to fix it.

It seems like it couldn't find turretgenerator.lua which is wild since that's a vanilla script.

I couldn't reproduce the error and I tried with both the mod by itself and the mods that you're using. If I can't reproduce it, I can't fix it.

Yeah this doesn't work with the boss cooldown timer. Unfortunate since Nyrrin has vanished so it's impossible to get him to change his mod to restore compatibility.

Possibly a dumb question but it might be best to ask anyways, if a player on a server defeats the wormhole guardian- will these six new bosses spawn Just for that player, or also for everyone else on the server?

B - switch these to working similarly to the fake pirate distress signals
C - both
D - neither

Perhaps my warning about these guys being harder than the guardian is somewhat understated. They are MUCH harder than the guardian.

Do NOT install this expecting to survive without several 100K+ Omicron ships or some clever fight tactics. If you get trapped in a hyperspace jammed fight with a 350K Omi beasty just uninstall this mod, open the galaxy map and switch to another sector then command the ships to hyper jump out. The jammer doesn't seem to work when you are not focused on the sector.
My best advice to Dev is to NOT patch that exploit. This mod almost burned a run on me.

It was a fresh server, and only 3 people online testing, did not leave the starting factions territory's for sure... But, I had all of your mission mods enabled, and several other mods, just when I disabled those two, is when the errors stopped.

Can you tell me when that error message pops up? Like does it pop up when you jump around in the core? In the outer areas of the map? Or when else?

Interesting! I'll look into it. I can verify that I have tested all 3 mods together and did not see the same errors that you're seeing.

The errors have stopped after I disabled the following mods :

Long Live The Empress!
Lord of the Wastes

So there still could be something else that is conflicting...
