update, I found out the save file i was using was not working so i tried another one and it worked

so there is no option to disable mods at the bottom of the game settings menu???????????????????? i am WILDLY confused, this is the first ive heard of this

no the box is just not there, so i can't see if it's on

so it says the mods are enabled but the box is still checked? i would uncheck it to be sure, it sounds like your mods are disabled

I check and it doesn't say it off but it doesn't the the check box for it being on
