Whenever i try to go into the game server, i feel depressed. only 5 people are ever on (including myself) in the USA multiplayer. I feel like we need to do something about it!

Valley may be dead and, or dying but this series as a whole certainly has been a joy to play!

The original Trackmania was one of my first pc games, thanks to a bargain bin in a pharmacy of all places. Got into gaming kinda late thanks to having technophobe parents. :D

Sadly, it was my first introduction to StarForce too. Oh, how I came to hate that crap. >.<

Yea it is very similar. I suppose they remade it to allow the 'pros' that play stadium in the ESL enjoy the new client features. It makes sense to me actually now that I think of it, but I also agree with you that it does not give you a good enough reason to buy a new (almost identical gamplay) version of the game

yea i agree with all that. I also think they didnt need to make stadium again. it just looks like it offers very little over the old free version. gameplay the same and samey tracks and graphics dont even look that much different to me so i cant figure out why they remade.

I really do miss the early days of valley when the hype was high and most of the servers were full. I actually ran the most popular time attack server during the first 3 months of Valley release. Most players I had online at once was 54! I was super proud of that and prayed that it would last. After those three months, numbers quickly dropped and only the ones that truely loved valley remained, which is about 100 players for the whole game. I think the TM series is extremely niche and the player base is very small. <rant over>

I agree 100%. Valley online is essentially dead, but like all the other environments including canyon, it comes alive with only a few servers reaching bout 20-30 players during the evenings for europe, as that seems to be where most TM players are. It is still great fun, however, making maps for all the environments. Nadeo recently made an update to the editor to allow 'block-mixing' which means you can essentially do whatever the heck you want!

cool, do a lot of people play Valley? i was sad when i got canyon and it is like dead mostly. i wish they hadnt split up the game in so many parts, it just divides the playerbase needlessly. id glady bought an all in one for a higher price than be forced to buy it in pieces or pick what piece to get.
