Yep still works.

I loved this ship some time ago and was wondering if it is still going to work with RE 1.10?

Glad you like it! :)

I absolutely love this starter-CV, thank you Ente!

Thanks guys!
@0Samuel: There isn't really a foreseen space for a bigger CPU upgrade. Just slap it wherever you feel it fits, if you need one. The upgrades are more intended to be alternatives, as you will typically want a more capable ship anyways as soon as possible.
The harvest controller is indeed intended for a drill turret.

Is the idea to add a tier 2 extender opposite the other one? I find that I run over CPU after upgrading the thrusters, and that's before adding a drill turret, which I assume is why you went with a harvest controller rather than a normal one for the main storage.

love this little bugger! great basic and great to upgrade. im at endgame level but just brought this in as a low fuel runabout flexible ship. you missed an ipportunity here to make this 2-4 blocks smaller in width to fit into the eclipse hangar! thats be so awesome!

All your ships are works of art! I am glad I found your builds. Thanks for building ships I want to show my wife (she doesn't like gaming but appreciates art).

Very nice design, like something special forces or black ops guys would cruise around in. Definitely on my list for any future play throughs.

Very, very good ship

@Ente ... the ship is optimal as ist is in my opinion. And a little radiation burn now and then doe'nt hurt too much. ^^

Lets be honest, this CV is intended to get out of the starter system and get some of the precious materials like gold, erestrum and zascosium to build a bigger and more powerful ship then. This time can be very painful and grindy. And your wonderful low cost little CV shortens that time remarcably and in a convenient way. What is a little radiation burn in comparison to that?! ;-)

Thanks again! :-)))
Ente  [author] 11 Feb, 2022 @ 6:36am
Ah I see, thanks!
There isn't really much I can do about the shield situation, the ship is simply too small to fully keep that thing out of the way. And if you catch radburn next to the shower ... well I guess you should shower more ;)

Jokes aside, will have a look whether I can do something about it, but I fear I am already at the limit of what I can achieve with the available space.
hot.slot 11 Feb, 2022 @ 5:28am
@Ente ... they are inside of the ship. One place to get a powerfull 15 RAD is between the shower and the constructor. I guess because of the pentaxid tank. Another one of cource is next to the shield. It is a little tricky to avoid to step on this fields because of the HV harvester I had inside. But the medical station is not toooo far. So you can get rid very quick of the radiation burn. :steammocking:

Thanks for the nice feedback!
Can you describe where you got the radiation? Was that while jetpacking in space or while walking around on ground?

THE best starter CV for RE to get out of the startersystem, in my opinion.

It is as small as a CV can get. It has lots of remaining CPU power for several updates. It has all essentials and it looks even nice.

I landed a miner SV (Auger MK-S) on the top of the nose where an aditional turret is intendet to carry it around. A little digger/wood harvester HV onto the small landing deck in the back. Worked realy fine for me.

The only downside was that I got often radiation burn walking around the vehicle because of the exposed thrusters and generators. So watch your steps inside! ;-)

Thank you for this great CV!!
