could probably clamp the turbine's throttle like |0.05 to 1| or something, not sure i'll have to test it and fix it when i've got the opportunity. definitely a small fix though, shouldn't take more than 4-5 minutes.

yea no it's the pid controlling the turbine, it's too sensitive by a little bit so when there's no load on the engine, it flicks back and forth between something like 0 and 0.15 or something, which kills and re-ignites the turbine over and over extremely quickly. this is most certainly a massive pain to listen to, but im not at my computer atm and won't be for another week and a bit

It actually only happens on the ground when stationary and not increasing collective, its fine in the air

absolutely barbaric description of the problem but luckily for you i know what you're talking about, i should be able to fix the PID that's causing the wacky throttle response

I based the cockpit on the mi-26 yea, though it's smaller than the original and i chose to have a sealed aft fuselage instead of the rear door for aesthetic reasons

ah no the helicopter is broken, it used what me and my friends were calling a "warp core", which was a miniaturized and RPM limited flywheel glitch. In a recent patch, this glitch has been broken, and so all of my helicopters up until this point are also broken, which is a bit of a shame. If i find the time between other projects and other games, i'll fix this one.

that or im just dumb and i need to wait for an rpm limit
