Just wondering; Will the offroad suspension ever get a remodel to better match the DLC versions?
Imperialer Offizer 88B 10 Sep, 2024 @ 9:57pm
any way to have stronger engine on that one? i have already 8L/8R 5x5 wheels wiht power on 100 % and have problems to become faster than 20/30km/h
{H.K.}Warlama 5 Aug, 2024 @ 8:58am
I came across this mod in my search for better clearance for my tank im working on.. im using these mods:https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3225398014
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3225398014 and i was excited to see these in action, but they dont seem to work together, is there any chance this mod could be made to work with the two listed tank tread mods please? that would be perfect!

have a great day
pryde64 12 Apr, 2024 @ 12:29am
great mod thank you for sharing
OGatoAJato 7 Mar, 2024 @ 1:16pm
Would be possible to create a config file to be stored at Storage folder, like MES does, so we can change the power of the wheels? I have made a car with 8 5x5 wheels that does not have power enough to climb even short hills. Not even with optimal height power and strenght settings.
YAKFLY 1 Sep, 2023 @ 10:55pm
Hi Zantulo. I'm a big fan of this mod. Would you update with the 2x2 wheels and the new suspension "Short lifted" ??
TrueWhiteKnight 26 Jun, 2023 @ 10:07pm
i would like to request the 2x2 wheel
Sanguin 23 Apr, 2023 @ 3:46pm
the suspension models are invisible..... bad download?
Lead Hail 21 Apr, 2023 @ 7:35pm
kinda wished you had a more powerful version of these mods, my ship requires thruster support even tho it has 20 wheels and weighs twice as much as the wheels can push.
Dog 20 Feb, 2023 @ 7:08am
Sadly this mod is causing my world to crash and freeze when I dock my ship that has these wheels on it. I'm not sure why but sadly I'll need to uninstall for now.
Heavyweapons 4 Jan, 2023 @ 7:46am
Hey, I was wondering if I could possibly reupload your mod so I can increase the wheel health, is that a possbility?
dragonsphotoworks 1 Oct, 2022 @ 4:38pm
Looks awesome. Been needing some thing like this and using pistons for suspension was getting annoying lol
Lighted Shadows 12 Jul, 2022 @ 2:05am
Could you make this with just small grid?
or
Allow me to do it myself credit and pack it into my server mod pack as unlisted?
We have an odd reason why we only need Small Grid wheels.
WindUpHero7 20 Jun, 2022 @ 2:40am
Can we get buildable no-suspension versions of the 4x4 and 2x2 wheels? I like to carry spare tires on my builds and, well, it looks a little dumb having the wrong size
baph.online 12 Jun, 2022 @ 2:18pm
hey, love this mod - if i could make a request, could you please add compact (1x1x1) suspensions? i've been using the standard suspensions for a forklift and while it works, the massive wheelbase renders vehicles a bit unwieldy. cheers
Khazul 17 May, 2022 @ 7:54am
For context in previous post, we are using 3x3 offroad wheels on most large block rovers - 6 per side.
Khazul 17 May, 2022 @ 7:52am
Excellent and very useful mod - makes large block rovers actually really useful instead of being useless suicide trucks :)

One little thing maybe for a future similar mod:-

If max wheel height was 1.5 instead of 1.3, then this would allow a fixed connector to reach when the rover is fully lowered. At 1.3 while a connector doesn't reach, at least landing gear can (just!) on a flat surface allowing turbines to be used on your rover when 'landed' which is still very useful - just a shame the connector cant quite reach :)
qscvhi2001 13 May, 2022 @ 5:41am
Regarding the Chinese localization, the left wheels are all correct, but the right wheels are all wrong, I hope it can be fixed, thank you.
Titan Nya 11 May, 2022 @ 12:36pm
Disregard my last comment it have nothing to do with this mod as even vanilla wheels don't spawn... Well 3 out of the 6 do spawn but not the rest...
Titan Nya 9 May, 2022 @ 2:45pm
For some reasons i can't add one of the wheels back after it got destroyed... tried multiple things and none worked... So i guess i'm gonna continue with only 5 wheels for now...
BIV 4 May, 2022 @ 7:07am
Even more great additions, well done and thank you for your time and effort, it is apprerciated. Great work mate.
Thieme 12 Apr, 2022 @ 8:48pm
Thank you for the amazing work! The extra clearance is a godsend.
I see from posts before me that you are looking into making a narrow wheel. I was wondering if it would be possible to make a more narrow (5x5) suspension as well.
Right now the suspension is 3x2x2 and the wheels are around 4 blocks. This means the most narrow rover you can build with 5x5's is already 15 blocks wide. So I was wondering if it is possible to shrink the suspension to 2x2x2. In combination with more narrow wheels this would be totally awesome.
MARHWIN 13 Mar, 2022 @ 6:55am
Arduous task, well then good luck with this future mod.
When you get it all sorted out, will this mod get thin wheels update?
Zantulo  [author] 12 Mar, 2022 @ 9:18am
For my next wheel mod that uses all custom models, I'm gonna explore some ways to make thin wheel variants. It's tricky with how wheel collisions work though, as they have to be spheres. Also to make thin wheels work with the other aspects of my next mod it will be an arduous task, but there's been enough requests here and in comments I remember from years ago on other mods...so I'm gonna try to tackle it.
MARHWIN 12 Mar, 2022 @ 4:36am
@Zantulo This mod as it is archieved wheeled supremacy and gospeed for you for this.
But I got to ask would you consider adding thinner version of these wheels for small grid? For example 3x3 wheel with suspension would only measure width of 3 small blocks instead of current ~3.75; similiary with 2x2 and 1x1 wheel systems.
Zantulo  [author] 10 Mar, 2022 @ 10:26am
Read past the first sentence of my last comment.
Imperialer Offizer 88B 10 Mar, 2022 @ 2:02am
i sayed OFFROAD weels not normal weels. my friend could not use your offroad suspension yesterday because he was missing the DLC.
Zantulo  [author] 9 Mar, 2022 @ 6:57pm
Omega, you don't need the Wasteland DLC to use the regular rover wheels in this mod. Any mod that uses DLC assets has to declare those blocks as DLC. Therefore, it should be tacit that I haven't ganked Keen DLC models and made them available to non-DLC players...otherwise this mod would be in violation of TOS and would've been taken down.
Imperialer Offizer 88B 8 Mar, 2022 @ 1:52pm
you need to add the info for requirement of wasteland DLC for offroad weels
ConTaGious 21 Feb, 2022 @ 9:05am
Gotcha, thanks for the answer and no worries. Just wanted to confirm.
Zantulo  [author] 21 Feb, 2022 @ 8:22am
Correct, ConTaGious. I didn't make standalone wheels for the 2x2 and 4x4. No plans to do so at this time. My next wheel mod will have standalone wheels for every tread model.
ConTaGious 19 Feb, 2022 @ 11:49pm
I thought I remember reading you mention something about the 2x2 & 4x4 wheels only (not suspensions) but read through all comments and descrip. and not finding it. Are those 2 wheel sizes not possible to be placed without being attached to a suspension?
TheRealPro 19 Feb, 2022 @ 8:31am
would it be possible to make a mod with 3x3 suspension and 1x1 wheels in survival, i want to use this for suspension.
Nikeybags 11 Feb, 2022 @ 12:08pm
I like the idea of these and its about time that wheels got lift and I also like the video, when you said what ever this is. call it Tree butter
Zantulo  [author] 6 Feb, 2022 @ 6:38pm
7x7 - 15x15 Lifted Wheel Suspension is now published! There's a link above under the Links header.
Drakray 3 Feb, 2022 @ 6:48am
:O those 9x9 are GREAT news!
Do you have an ETA for those big wheels?, we have a build in my server that could REALLY use them to get better clearance and look :D
Zantulo  [author] 27 Jan, 2022 @ 9:04pm
Meat Popsicle, I think that actually has to do with not enough propulsion power...when you're talking about rovers like my Porcupine & Tortuga when they're even half full of resources. I say this because I've been testing the balance of my WIP 9x9 wheels, and they perform very well on those two rovers. The wheels in this mod all match the linear trend of vanilla propulsion power, but my 7x7+ wheels will have a slight buff deviating from the vanilla trend. Otherwise, the bigger wheels would supply the same propulsion per block length of chassis. Furthermore, the wheels I'm working on for after these vanilla style wheels, using my original models, will have about a 20% increase in power across the board while using rarer resources. Get ready for the big boys ;)
thetrains647 27 Jan, 2022 @ 3:28pm
thank you now i can really get to work on off rode trucks
Meat Popsicle 27 Jan, 2022 @ 3:03pm
Now we need a mod that gives wheels more traction so massive rovers can truly be made.
XDerpingxGruntX 26 Jan, 2022 @ 2:15pm
Thank you, now i can lift my truck on 40's with thin tires. It'll have 4x4 but will never leave the road.
area51_raider 26 Jan, 2022 @ 12:15pm
I'm sold
i'll take 10!
TenTech 26 Jan, 2022 @ 6:47am
Every now and then, a mod comes along that is superior to vanilla in every way. This is one of those mods.
Zantulo  [author] 26 Jan, 2022 @ 2:52am
Thanks everybody for your kind words! I'm working on bigger wheels for the next mod as we speak.
El Capitan Kirk 26 Jan, 2022 @ 1:01am
Haha just subbed, but it's an obvious requirement for anyone that cares for QOL. I actually came to comment on the vid and saw I was not alone... This doesn't surprise me.

Well done on all accounts! And ditto to all the intro-vid love.
PLASMA 25 Jan, 2022 @ 1:09pm
that intro videos was bomb lol... although that one rover was kinda sus.... XD
Wilhelm 24 Jan, 2022 @ 10:16pm
Awesome Mod, much needed - Rover Derby time. Leetttttss gooooooooo!!
RogueGodzilla 24 Jan, 2022 @ 8:31pm
Intro video is the bomb!
Mr_695 24 Jan, 2022 @ 12:47am
Ah well that is fair enough but to me the are now much less useful do to the lack of travel. Falling + lag / just falling = broken rover because the 1x1s broke off or in the case vanilla 1x1s are used, they hit the collision hit box and the suspension brakes but that is just my experience
Zantulo  [author] 24 Jan, 2022 @ 12:05am
Mr_695 I chose -15cm as the upper limit so that the suspension model, where the wheel connects to it, won't visibly go underground if the rover has low strength or is relatively heavy for its class. If you raise it to -15 cm, the suspension models are just about scraping on the ground (even though their collision is much higher). There are some non-rover situations with 1x1s where vanilla suspension is better suited for this reason. That's also one of the reasons I chose to not overwrite vanilla suspension with my blocks.
stedo 23 Jan, 2022 @ 10:52pm
Superb. I shall be using this mod. Thank you.
love the video by the way. Definitely had a chuckle :D
