In order to get a Masterwork quality item (that is unlocked via job) you will also need the +1 bonus talent for that item type. This mod was made specifically for a play-through using a modded talent tree but should work for vanilla so it may be impossible to get the +1 talent on a talent tree that is matching where the job unlocked item is unlocked.

So what does this do exactly? The description leads me to believe it allows jobs to craft +1 job items, like the engineer making masterwork hardened items, but when I craft one of the items it does nothing, same 20% excellent quality item for the hardened wrench at level 100. Captain made a handcannon that says masterwork job items on it however its still 20% and excellent quality.
