still one of my favourite mods, well worth the time spent researching how to hard replace voicelines

I have recordings for Blaze and Scourge for the moment, I’ve just been too lazy to process them lol.

Any update on the other survivors? I'd hate for this project to be dead in the water.

I really like this mod when paired up with a Silver model mod for Louis. Really adds to the immersion. It's just that I wish the files were louder/had increased gain because L4D's environment is awfully loud. With all the guns, the horde, and the 3 other survivors, Silver's lines became drowned amidst all of those other sounds.

No. Just need the files from the google drive. As for backing up louis' files, just copy and paste them into a seperate folder.

DO I have to have the mod turned on in order to do it? SInce I have found the files for Louis, and I'm unsure on how to back them up.

Once you have them replaced(make sure to back up the original files), type snd_rebuildaudiocache into your console.

Go to your Left 4 Dead 2 folder in your common folder. There's different folders for the dlcs. You want to replace the files found in dlcs 1, 2,3, and update. Directory in those folders for Louis' lines is sound/player/survivor/manager

I wonder, I've tried to look up on how to do the voiceline replacement, but I can't find anything. Any suggestions?

In terms of a bigger picture, I have Scourge and Blaze completely done in terms of written lines, I’m just waiting on the recordings for those.

Listening to the lines honestly GeekySonic deserves some huge props for those lines. I'm very picky when it comes to Silver's voice and just fandubs but Geeky legit knocked it out of the park! Awesome jobs everyone!

I want to see the full picture, Silver is honestly on point. Also the drive is locked.

I need to restate the fact that this mod is best enjoyed with a hard install. L4D2, unlike TF2, uses the base game files to limit the length of voicelines. That's why it's absolutely necessary to hard install the mod, as it fixes the issues with lines being slowed and the issue with the lines cutting off.

yo dude this mod rocks and it's perfect for silver to have some of Louis's lines to giving his witty yet courage like nature.

This is actually really, really cool, it's the first time I've seen a voice replacement that isn't just sound clips taken from other media. GeekySonic's Silver voice is really great, too!
