I created a brand-new collection to remaster and enhance the original game experience, which includes this mod. Check it out at the following link: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3421354187

can you do one for the sg552?
Ghost-OS 21 Jul, 2023 @ 2:54pm
Thank you. It is an awesome scope.

I have got the oval scope -like running my games at 1366 x 768 .

I just thought it was a feature of the game for some odd reason (like an asian game oddity or something).

I will need to try this to see if it fixes issue ,but to be honest I got used to it and may find a round scope weird now.

Love this scope. It's like using a cheat program in video game. Too bad I usually have consistency problem when trying to join people game.

I knew something was up with the original scope, kudos to this man for being the real mvp and fixing it :)

Oh whoops didn't see the thing in the description
Red Schism  [author] 3 Dec, 2016 @ 4:25pm
This Version fixes the 'oval scope' problem for people running L4D2 at (1366 x 768) and (1768 x 992) resolutions.

Please use non OSF version.
KaveriK_ 3 Dec, 2016 @ 12:06pm
this scope does not work on 1600x900 resolution, it squishes it into an oval going right to left
DoughBoy 10 Apr, 2016 @ 11:23pm
Very nice I love it.
Red Schism  [author] 16 Mar, 2016 @ 1:14am
No idea. I just tried it myself but for some reason I can't get any mod to work for L4D1 right now.
GreenPeas 15 Mar, 2016 @ 5:45am
Thx for this brilliant scope! All works fine and shine!
Btw, why this mod won't work on L4D1? I've merged all files, that have been replaced, no differences between L4D1 & L4D2 in file structure. What can go wrong?
Red Schism  [author] 17 Sep, 2015 @ 12:11am
That's because you're running at a standard resolution of 1920x1080. This version is intendended for people running at the resolutions listed above in the description.

The standard version of The Professional Scope will better suit your screen, you can find it above the description in the collections tab.

Would it be possible to get a version without the dot sight? (For people who'd rather not bother with the crosshair removing when scoped)

Please check the Add-Ons tab in L4D2 and make sure that "The ProfessionalScope:OSF" is active and that there are no conflicts.

If you are still experiencing problems please download the original Professional Scope .
Again in-game before playing, ensure that "Professional Scope" is active and that there are no conflicts.

This version was specifically designed for the aforementioned resolutions.

The Professional Scope original version is the one that will work for you.

What resolution are you running?

If you are indeed running the game at 1366x768 or 1768x998, and are still having a problem. Please check the Add-Ons tab in L4D2 and make sure that "The ProfessionalScope:OSF" is active and that there are no conflicts.
CluckenDip 11 Oct, 2014 @ 6:00pm
Still an oval for me

There are two methods to do this, neither are perfect and both have pros and cons. You can find out more about both by clicking Here.
