No, I absolutely agree with you that it is okay but only under specific circumstances. To give an example, there is a youtube series about Stellaris (different game, yes I know) where players fought each other through lan and the guy that directed everything basically had a lot of cheat mod running.

To complicate things for the players and to make sure that everything ran smoothly.

That, would be okay too. But if you're playing with strangers and unless it's things that are cheating but not gamebreaking (like teleporting to friends) I'd consider that an exception. Or depending on what you're trying to do or what you're trying to roleplay.

It's easier to justify for PZ but there are plenty of games where it cannot be justified in any way and players are punished harshly when they're caught.

@kingdark, hi theres always a non-cheaty way to use it in multiplayer, for example a dad and son playing the game, plus the sons friend, and the are new to the game, and the dad wants to (as the host), enable the mod so that the 2 youngsters can "prevent death" or quickly "teleport" to each other to start playing and learning the game etc, and get a helping hand with a few starting items :)

WHY would you want to use a CHEAT mod in MULTIPLAYER???? I don't care what people do in their own OFFLINE single player games. But it is NOT okay to CHEAT in online with strangers UNLESS you're the admin or something along those lines.

This mod is amazing, I love spawning into Louisville, turning on God mode and infinite ammo, giving myself an M16 and ridiculous armor, and then just devastating the zombie hordes.

So far it the options I've checked work very well however there doesn't seem to be an option to change a vehicles skin/decals.

Its rather baffling how many morons are just saying "b42 when" or "wash, this dosent work in b42 unstable" if you want it so bad, update it yourself then. Maybe some people will learn that they aren't entitled to a mod update, and that development isn't as easy as pressing a few buttons (Im a developer myself)

If you want to spawn items only, there's an alternative that does only that. it's something like item spawner or something like that.

I can't get the terrain mode to work. I was able to spawn items just fine, but the terrain mode won't let me place grass onto dirt.

У кого не работает при запуске сохранения, то следует перед тем как нажать "играть", зайти в "подробнее" и нажать "выбрать моды". Поставить галочку на моде и после запустить сохранённую игру через загрузку, а не продолжить.
B42.7 все работает.

This does not, I repeat, this does not work in B42. Although the chance exists it is a conflict with another mod that causes it not to work. Also, this mod prevents actions to the options for whatever reason.

yeah its a really good mod for my solo games, where it left me use infinite carry weight or learn all skills, for testing out mods etc

its meant for singleplayer
