Pretty sure that's a base game problem.
On a different note I've read some of comments. Many of the problems aren't related to this mod or can be solved by adding another mod. For example lag while in inventory is caused by having to many mods that add items and a coding mistake by the devs. There are multiple mods that fix that problem. Or the guy that had the vanishing window problem, that is by design. If you don't want that you have to pin the window. Click on the little icon that looks like a pin in the right hand corner.
My main issue with the vanilla inventory is that it groups equipped and non-equipped together - which is a pain if have "category" as default and have two of the same weapon as this can get you killed:
For example, dropping stuff to reduce weight when in a tricky situation and accidentally select the equipped one to drop instead of the spare. It's only for a moment while you equip the spare, but it could be a fatal one
Thanks for the mod anyway
attempted index: setVisible of non-table: null
function: OnCharacterDeath -- file: QOLET_GlobalFunctions.lua line # 51 | MOD: QOL - Equipment tab
java.lang.RuntimeException: attempted index: setVisible of non-table: null
Going to the file, nothing seems out of place but I have no experience with this
Great MOD.Thank you.
1. Shouldn't favorited items have a star in the window? I like being able to see that at a glance.
2. Can you add an option to put the refresh button inside the configuration window. I've accidentally clicked it several times because it's so close to the configure button and it resets all my changes!
3. The drop down menu for the font sizes is keeping the word "small" in the window after I changed it and is over lapping with the size I choose making them hard to read, as well as; the numbers for the width and length.
4. I can't for the life of me figure out how to merge or add new folders.
5. Shouldn't there be an "Equip Bag" button, so you can quickly reequip bags after something like exercising.
6. Removed items do not go into the container I have selected instead they go into my main inventory.
7. If you have your wearables hidden there's no way to transfer a held corpse into another inventory, you can only pick it up or drop it. Some mods use corpses for various things. Hydrocraft you can butcher them for parts to make glue and fertilizer or burn them into charcoal. Another mod you can cut them up to learn first aid and so you need to be able to transfer them. But icons for the items can't be moved to an inventory.
I no longer have the time, nor the desire, to improve the mod
- Corpses
- Generators
Thanks in advance!
All added in the last update
RE: Folders
I meant about the submenu; neither all open nor all closed,
but wondering if it could be custom:
- so if I close the 'Bags' or 'Trinkets' submenu, and leave the rest open,
that when I close and reopen your mod's window, I want the same submenus to be open and closed.
RE: Aiming
- When I am aiming with my mouse, and hover over your pinned equipment window it will open the panel.
- I am wondering if this can be changed to have the same logic as the vanilla game's inventory and container windows.
- When you aim and hover over those pinned windows, they don't open (as that would block the screen during combat)
RE: Inventory tooltips
- Is it possible for the tooltips in 'Equip Cloth' to show green or red defensive stats relative to what you have equipped?
- I don't want to suggest a change that would increase impact on performance but since vanilla tooltips have show this, I am just wondering.
Thank you
I'm not using any weapon, I only fight bare-hands (thank you "More Traits" mods for "Martial Artist" trait!); so I have this big useless Weapon panel I would like to hide.
Yes I saw that issue when playing yesterday, if there not so many item that ok but with a complet bag, inventory... That start to lag. I will make a small update to lets you choose the page refresh rate (currently every UI frame) and some upgrade to limite FPS lost.
Thanks in advance!
What do you mean by keeping folders open? In the main menu or the submenu to equip a new item of clothing?
Because normally the open folders of the main menu remain open the time you are in game even if you close the window. On the other hand, folders for the submenu where you equip yourself, they are all open or all closed (depends on the option)
All working in order: https://xfl.jp/Ifg06S
Q: Is there a way that the mod can remember which subcategories of 'Weapon' or 'Clothes' you have closed/ opened each time you use the Equipment window?
- I seem to remember in one of the past versions of the mod this was the case.
- For example, I want to close 'Trinkets' and it stay closed when I open up the window again.
- I know you added the 'open all tabs' option in ModOptions which is likely responsible for something here
