It didn't work after the update.

there is also a problem with scaling text on lcd, it's too small and doesn't want to move text between lines, the text just goes beyond the borders of the screen (

Yes , I also encountered this problem , but I tried just outputting the apply:profile argument to the toolbar , and alas , the argument doesn't work (

Just came across this gem and I think it's exactly what I've been looking for, but i am having a bit of difficulty getting it to trigger via a timer. I've set timers to trigger when landing gear locks by passing the "apply:ProfileName" argument via a timer and the suspension seem to just behave erratically and don't reset to the "ProfileName" settings. When I trigger it via the cockpit controls it works fine but no other method seems to work, including passing the argument directly to the PB. Am I missing something or has anyone else noticed this?

@Jack I'll take a look at it this evening. I've used it with Automatic LCDs as well and it doesn't take over all the LCDs. It only uses the first LCD "@0AutoLCD" If you don't include it in you Custom Data text, there won't be the conflict. There's a small rover in my collection that uses both my script and MMasters. If you take a look at the pics for this script, you'll see MMaster stuff running on the other LCDs. It's a darker pic and the MMaster stuff is in white.

I wasn't able to get it working, Ronin. See the thread you shared this in. Is it possible to update this so we can choose which screen it displays on and operates from in multi-screen cockpits? I use automatic LCD's and fancy displays 2 on my cockpit screens at the same time. I can't use those if I run this because it hogs and disables every screen even though it only runs on one of them.

Hello!
Help please!
Strenght dont change from 100% to other (from any percent to 100% it work). Maybe i set wrong settings?
CTH2004 25 Mar, 2022 @ 2:17pm
great! Thanks!
Ronin Planetary Industries  [author] 25 Mar, 2022 @ 7:58am
@CTH2004 The values can be anything you want. Each suspension's settings are recorded individually. So change them up however you like: steering, heights, strengths... that's why I created the script... especially when using more than four wheels and wheels of different sizes.
CTH2004 25 Mar, 2022 @ 6:49am
do the values have to be the same throughtout the suspension, or, for instance, can the back wheels be stronger than the front?

@Ronin, hey man, i see you comments here and on the blueprint page i published. Sorry about the delay, i've been working on a new pc build, slowly, backing up data and stuff. I'll test the modified link you posted tonight and update you with the results. I appreciate you taking the interest and action!

@ConTagious Check your item's comments. I want you to try out my fix.
ConTaGious 16 Mar, 2022 @ 12:51pm
I meant the published blueprint is set to unlisted fty, not hidden
ConTaGious 16 Mar, 2022 @ 12:45pm
@Ronin, I did publish the blueprint and set to hidden and shared the link. The was just added in the 2nd comment. Do you not see it below?
Here it is again though:

@ConTaGious Could you post a link to your modified vehicle with the trailer? I've actually tested this vehicle with the script. It's the second video in THIS script's description. There's an option to set the workshop item's visibility to unlisted so as not to make it searchable and upset the original creator.

Update: So I've loaded up a save and copied a vehicle that hadn't been loaded with your script yet. Removed a couple modded blocks and switched the vehicle wheels out with vanilla wheels since some of them were from the Lifted Suspensions mod. Setup wheel settings to my default setup and named them/cockpit as needed. Placed a ProgramBlock and loaded ur script and setup as needed.

I am still receiving the same issue but have some new info that may be much more helpful in deciphering what is up. One of them being that the issue persists on the vehicle with and without a trailer being attached, which makes me wonder if i'm just doing something wrong.

But since i won't be able to fit the info here, refer to the workshop page for the details. Btw, sorry about the length, but am mainly reporting all this for your benefit, if wanted. I can deal with how it is now if it turns out to not be an error on my part.
ConTaGious 16 Mar, 2022 @ 12:54am
I haven't actually tested what i was doing before since I last commented here. But the issue was that loading a suspension setting via the "apply" command specifically was behaving differently than when loading the same settings from the cockpit menu. I'll try it out again here shortly with the vehicle and report the results, and will link a copy of the blueprint if results are unexpected. Thanks for following up.

@ConTaGious I just updated the script to version 1.1. If you're still having issues, then create a blueprint of the vehicle and post a link. I've not tested the script with trailers. I'm wondering if there are issues with any rear suspension getting loaded while the front comes off the ground... hmm..
ConTaGious 5 Mar, 2022 @ 11:44pm
@Ronin I know I didn't provide much info regarding my conditions and was mainly seeing the situation was something you were familiar with. The weight definitely wouldn't have changed but the vehicle is a rover connected to a trailer via double hinges and the trailer has both small and large grid blocks.

I'll do some configuring with different setups and try what you suggested, but since this isn't something you've seen, I'm thinking it's related to the way I first setup everything and will likely fix itself once redone. Thanks for the response and support!

@ConTaGious has the vehicle's mass changed between the creation of the preset and the application? If your strength is set too low for the current mass, you might see the vehicle sink lower rather than raise up. I would adjust the strength to see if that solves the problem. If so, I would create a new preset and label it as "heavy" or "loaded" or add the current mass to the name "_1234567kg" or whatever it is.

Hey man, so I am starting to use your script and am testing out some of the features. I've ran into an issue and to me, seems like it's not working the way you intended. So checking with you about it:

If I manually alter suspension settings through the terminal via the sliders, then run the PB with the "apply" command (pointed to a saved preset), it works as expected.

But if the vehicle is instead configured to a different preset that was applied via using the cockpit's lcd (via the "menuminusone", etc. arguments), the vehicle's suspensions behave strangely. I haven't examined exactly what suspension settings are being adjusted, but visually, the vehicle sinks lower (offset increases).

If i run the apply command while the suspension is configured to the same preset, nothing happens, as expected.

Right on!
Ronin Planetary Industries  [author] 19 Feb, 2022 @ 3:18pm
@ConTaGious Thanks! Oh about your concern... NOPE... I built it so that it adjusts incrementally rather than instantly. That's why it locks you out for a little bit while it makes the adjustments. You're welcome! :)
ConTaGious 19 Feb, 2022 @ 11:15am
Awesome! I have been doing a lot of tuning on suspensions lately and there are so many scenarios where adjusting the suspension settings are required or just too beneficial to not. But it's always been annoying setting/using all the different settings on the hotbar. Thanks for this!

I imagine will just need to make sure to not switch from a super low height/strength setup to a high setup, as to avoid doing a unintentional jump :P

@Dr. Distortion You are welcome. Cheers!!!
