Hi there. I would really like a version of this composition (and the other NATO version you made) for the Independent faction. Just the same models etc but using the INDEP Darter version. Would this be possible?

Since this composition has become popular enough (2,500+ subscribers) I will work on designing other variants of this for Opfor and Indep. i may rename this one to

How do you make it so the UAV doesn't just circle the terminal? I've tried giving the UAV waypoints but it just continues to circle the terminal.

@SquidP All I can recommend with that is trial and error. Make sure you don't use any Zeus related modules, as I have not yet figured out how to make it compatible with Zeus servers and have limited knowledge in the SQF language.

I installed the composition, placed it in an unmodded eden map, placed a UAV operator from NATO and i just get a kind of loading screen. I controlled the drone, opened the terminal and its just not working. No clue what to do

For everyone who has asked me about making a video to show how it works, I made a YouTube video a while back doing exactly that. The only other details you should need to know is:

* In the scenario you are in with this composition placed, you need to be a NATO soldier with a UAV Terminal [NATO] in your GPS slot.
* Everything in the sqf script is remoteExecuted, meaning even in a multiplayer scenario, the actions will appear when you are 5 meters near the composition and looking at it.
* I would recommend that you only place down one of these compositions at a time, since the variables for the displayed feeds are tricky.
* If you place this composition in the Eden Editor and somehow find no sqf script in the init field, unsubscribe and resubscribe to the composition. I do not know what would cause that to happen, but resubscribing is the fastest and easiest fix I can suggest.

is there a way to make it so the gunner optic is not locked onto where ever the UAV terminal is?
Simply put, is there a way to control it as a normal UAV?

No, it shouldn't do anything to framerate unless you've got like a hundred other compositions placed down somewhere

@Abuzer Kömürcü Playing as any NATO entity in the eden editor, you need to have a UAV terminal [NATO] in the inventory of your entity to use the drone. Anyone with a NATO terminal can access the drone connected to the feed station as long as nobody else is currently using it.

Sorry man, I don't know why, but the data terminal init is empty. I have tried it with and without mods loaded, so even totally vanilla, no script in the init, and no action menu to access the terminal.

@A Very Tactical Sausage: You'd have to script it further to do that. There are a number of addActions you could put on this to do that, like [this, _yourObject] call BIS_fnc_attachToRelative;

is this a movable object? IE could I, while playing, load and unload it from a vehicle etc?

Same as @tacfly6, I have the mod subscribed, and I place a data terminal in the editor. But when approached there is not action menu option to access it.

For some reason there appears no blue text for opening and using the data terminal. I placed it from objects into the editor and i had a the nato uav terminal on my body.

If you look in the script, just remove the Draw3D Event Handler from Camera 1, that should make it follow where the Pilot cam is looking.

I think so, I could try releasing a second version with that. This one just has the gunner turret with 2 views in normal/nv and thermal.

Is it possible to have the driver view on one screen, and gunner view on the other?
