With the mods I have, there's also just a little too much literature to fit comfortably in one bookcase even in the early game; factor in the magazines and recipes too.
Extremely rare loot helps but the sheer amount of books to manage is overwhelming for my use-case/ mod-list.
I use the main mod alongside some other literature organizing mods like 'exhilaratingly organized' and Eggon's 'Have I found this book'.
The authors of 'Occupations Expertises' had said they would release a version/ are working the skill books aspect compatibility with other mods so I was holding off on seeking out this re-upload/ tweak which I had heard existed already.
HOWEVER, seeing the authors' blessing on this version is the go-ahead for me to use this version instead.
We will develop more features on our version of the mod so feel free to check on it sometimes, you might appreciate more what it becomes later on.
We wish you a very pleasant evenning. Onkeen, Denden and Papy.
As a second use, these books relieve the stress on having a weapon focused character, which allow any occupation to be interresting an engaging to play, without sacrificing its viability (which would make it a less favorable pick). Be it in solo or multi, any occupations can grind it's way into combat and utilize its signature kit rather than never being picked.
Finally, most PZ players are using exploits or meta-strategies to grind skills in order to help survivability or to reach certain threshold for gameplay. Removing the need for these exploits, we feel like the game is less time-consuming without sacrificing immersion.
Thank you very much for your support!
We appreciate your kind words and are very glad that you could use your own time to create the mod that is right for you!
We hear that you have been frustrated by our policy, and since you took the time to make you own work and answer this troll, we'll gladly take the time to explain why we do not wish to remove the books for now.
The three of us have very time consuming jobs, so we cannot answer each request nor update every day. Especially when it requires to remove key parts of the mod.
The way they created the perks and recipes is great. I really like it.
I did nothing but remove the books. They created an awesome mod =).
So yea ^^ I understand your frustration about the books as i share it too.
In any case, do not be that rude to mod authors, it's their free time and passion and it's their work and project.
We cannot dictate them to do as we please. =)
Actually, looking for an answer put me here on the workshop with my very first mod ^^
So, thanks to them for that too =)
I wish you a good evening !
