IN THE LIVING ROOM THE DIAMOND DOES NOT CLICK TO ACTIVATE THE CUPBOARD TO OPEN TO GET THE NEXT STATUE... CAN YOU LOOK INTO FIXING THIS?

loads of fun, but can't play very far in as after the Diary 2021-06-06 puzzle is solved the key item revealed doesn't interact. i can't pick it up, nor knock it free.

jellyfish.org I'm sorry that hear that. I will take a look into this, could be a new patch causing issues. I recommend that you use the Z button to zoom into objects.

A lot of the notes are very pixelated and practically unreadable, I've tried raising my graphics but it didn't help :(

Quick update: I've decided to take a break from creating rooms until the end of the summer! It's to hard at the moment to keep up with creating rooms, 2 kids and full time job! So please be patient for Windcrest manor part 5. I want to make it really good but for that I need some inspiration and rest. Thanks for understanding, I will still try to reply on comments.

@Sasha :) It is used to bring down a box on top of the cabinet inside the master bedroom, this box will reveal a hint for the locks on the bed. So you can complete this room without using the umbrella, well done :) Thank you for playing!

Great map so much fun absolutely 10/10 I'm just so confused about what the umbrella is for on the upsatairs room... There is evena letter about it but its never used and I was so confused when i finished without using it. Was it gonna be used for something and was just left there?

Hello! The YT video walkthrough is of an old patch (1.3.0). Some drawers are now static (can't open) because I wanted to make the room abit easier :) Thanks for asking, could've been an issue!

I can't seem to open any drawers or cabinets.
I've looked at videos on YT and they can open them. Other rooms I've played are fine, but in this room I can't open stuff. Is this a known issue? :)

@LayZ I would say Medium because of the room size. The puzzle themselves are somewhere between Easy to Medium but I wouldn't place this room in Hard difficulty. Although it depends on your past experience with rooms :)

@iHueco There is a drawer right to the one with the marble puzzle. The keyhole is on the side of that drawer! This will reveal additional chess pieces.

After the marble game board puzzle in game one, what do I do with the key? I also don't see any of the chess pieces besides the one next to the board

Some puzzles or interactable items weren't used at all to solve the puzzle. either that or i took the key behind the painting without activating the switch mechanism

@Lilipup781 Ironically, the "Star of David" is a hexagram, which is symbol heavily used in witchcraft and mysticism. It also goes by the title "the Seal of Solomon", which allowed the use of demonic power.

Hit a bit of a bug, the I'm unable to pick up the key behind the painting the master bedroom after solving the games puzzle . Pretty sure I can't progress as a result. Good room otherwise!

@The Pell Thanks for letting me know! I think that sometimes when you load a room, some assets can get glitched, not sure what causes this (maybe how to assets are loaded) but sometimes it feels like people get some weird, unusual problem and restarting solves it. I hope you enjoy the rest of the room and series, thanks for keep trying to play the room and good luck!

I just quit and started over. Went right for the diamond and placed it, and it seemed to work. Not sure if the issue was some weird thing that was fixed by quitting and restarting, or if it was fixed by ignoring everything and going for the diamond first.

It goes to the trashcan. Which is weird because the platform isn't all that close to the trashcan. I know that I'm placing them in the right spot, and even watched the video after trying a few times to verify I was correct.

@The Pell hello, I haven't heard of this problem before. When you say goes to the trash, do you mean a trashcan, inventory or just on the floor? Have you seen the guide section? so you know if you are placing each stone on correct pedestal? I'm sorry to hear that you 've got this problem, its the first time I hear about it so I dont know a quick fix

I can't place the diamond. The first time I try, it automatically goes to the trash. I pull it out, but I can't put it on the shelf. The other two stones snap into place correctly.

The first time I tried the puzzle, I was just matching colors, and tried putting the ruby on the red slot. It also went into the trash. Pulled it out and same thing, It looks like no stones are able to be placed on that bottom (red) platform.

Part 4 is to be released on friday April 1st around 18-19.00 ish CET! It has about the same length as part 3. There will be alot of new unique puzzles (compared to the other parts) and a guide will be released on the same day including hints and how to solve the puzzles.

Stay tuned for the release! Map is about 95% done and what remains is testing the map on some friends and create the ending scene.

@dustybob21 I have to check it out but I haven't heard anyone not being able to pick it up yet so I think you might encountered a glitch, sorry for that!

I'm stuck on the last puzzle I think. I found both red heart and black heart and the cabinet with the key with a W tag opened but I can't pick it up. Is this a bug or am I just missing part of the puzzle?

Quick update: Part 4 is about 70% done, will be released late Mars or early April!

@Conversed I just beat the second one with my boyfriend and there is indeed another Star of David, it gave us another round of laughs. The Star of David is becoming my favorite recurring character! (<- that is a joke btw, it's still really funny) We're having such a good time with these levels and are onto part 3 now! We're excited for part 4 in April!!

Hey this is great, I'm gonna say 10/10. My only complaint is in the last part with the curtains... That's not a pentagram, that's a Star of David in a circle with "DIE" written beneath it. If you're not super sure what a Star of David is, it's the symbol connected to a person's Jewish faith and identity. So reading "DIE" under that felt a bit wrong, just coming from a Jewish person. But it was a great map otherwise! I'm not mad, I just thought I would let you know. The Star being there brought me a laugh instead of being scared, but I'm not sure how other Jewish folks would react

@Gin you have all the keys needed for the puzzle:) you just need to figure out were to put them! combine color with type of gemstone there is also a pinned guide

Hey Andrew The chess puzzle will unlock the black marble, the game board unlocks the yellow marble, hope this helps!

hey. So I see I had to solve the game board to get the black marble. When you say complete do you mean getting the code to unlock the cabinet? If so then I solved it but there wasn't a black marble.

V.1.3.0 is released, see patch notes above! Adding even more ambience, easier to locate rooms and items when completing puzzles! I will no longer update Part 1 until Part 4 is complete! I will of course fix roombreaking glitches if you would find one!

Thank you so much for your feedback. I've been working with part 2 and 3 so I haven't giving part 1 any love lately. Your comment is very important to help me improve and I'm very thankful for the feedback! I hope that you will see that I've learned from past misstakes from part 1 and boxes/chests aren't as cryptic in this one and is placed closer to the "puzzle". I will patch part 1 by moving some chests to make it easier to just get the items you need.

I hope that you and your friend/friends will enjoy the other parts as well!

There were also a few times where after we finished a puzzle we heard a sound (thank you for doing that) but had to actually search the room to try and find what we solved. If that's meant to be intended then you can ignore the following:
1. The black and white chess piece puzzle
2. Coloured marble puzzle that opens the desk to the left
3. Gems on the shelf that unlock glass cabinet on the opposite side of the room
4. The bed puzzle that unlocked the painting[/spoiler]

And there's a pillow opposite the computer on a chair that floats when you drag the chair from out of it. We'll definitely be trying the other parts to this series, thanks again!

My partner and I really enjoyed the room, the atmosphere and sound effects were great, the jump scares too and the puzzles were satisfying to solve.

I noticed a few small things that are nothing game breaking but thought you might want to know about:

There were 4 keys that we could pick up again after using which we thought might confuse other people:
1. The silver key that goes to the side of the cabinet
2. The gold key on the right side of the desk
3. The small brown key on the bottom left of the desk
4. The brown key to the last door leading to the exit
