Did you read the description? He says it right there:

"The following religious preferences are also updated: England to Anglicanism, Germany to Lutheranism, the Netherlands to Calvinism, America to Baptist Christianity, Sweden to Lutheranism."

Do AI christian civs go for any of these at all by recognizing them as christian?

Oh ok
Tomatekh  [author] 20 Feb, 2016 @ 1:53pm
The Episcopalian Church is part of the Anglican Communion. It's not possible for me to add every denomination so I stuck with just the larger sub-divisions; in this case Anglicanism.
tjm1305 20 Feb, 2016 @ 1:39pm
Great mod, but what about Episcopalian?
Tropican 28 Oct, 2015 @ 3:28pm
Now I no longer have to name my version of Christianity

It will no longer have to be B Christianity(Bapstist Christianity)

Thanks for making this, saved a lot of save editing

Now I can play England as anglicans, nice!
DrakenX999 5 Sep, 2014 @ 12:14pm
They're still an Anglican church, though. There's no need to make them a seperate denomination in-game.
Hodag 5 Sep, 2014 @ 11:32am
Well Episcopalians are there own seperate denomination now. The Anglicans renounced them after they started allowing gay bishops.
Tomatekh  [author] 2 Sep, 2014 @ 8:50am
Episcopalianism is a branch of the Anglican Communion.
DarkKnight 2 Sep, 2014 @ 8:21am
what about episcopalianism?
Tomatekh  [author] 1 Sep, 2014 @ 8:17am
Update: No gameplay changes. Mod files converted from XML to SQL to ensure better compatability across all my Historical Religions mods. If you need the previous version to continue a save, a download link is at the bottom of the description.
DrakenX999 24 Aug, 2014 @ 10:24am
Doesn't Presbyterianism fall under Calvinism?
petrichorus 24 Aug, 2014 @ 10:10am
No Presbyterianism?
-Green 24 Aug, 2014 @ 8:23am
Alvaro's stats are more than a little bit off....
Tomatekh  [author] 18 Aug, 2014 @ 11:53am
@leandrodjc

I will be including more denominations in the future, but at the moment I'm working on othe religion packs outside Christianity.
OFuturoPolímata 17 Jul, 2014 @ 10:44am
Could include Assemblies of God, and put as Brazil's preference!
alvarobuenogarcia1234 10 Jul, 2014 @ 6:50am
OK. Well defended. Anyway, although Washington was bautized as anglicanist, always said that he was cristian so accept all churches by equal and did never specific himself as bautist.
Tomatekh  [author] 10 Jul, 2014 @ 6:17am
As I said, I base the preferences on the leader first (as many times the civilization is represented as part of their time frame) in which case Bismarck and Gustavus Adolphus were Lutheran and Willian van Oranje was Calvinist.

The USA is an exception because although Catholicism is larger than any single Protestant denomination in the country, since the majority of people are "Protestant" the civ's original preferrence in the vanilla game is Protestant and I did not want to change this despite the shift in numbers between Protestantism and Catholicism after splitting Protestantism up. The choice was then to make them Anglican because of Washington or go with Baptist (the largest Protestant denomination in the country today). I ultimately chose Baptist to further seperate the in-game colonial America from England and for diversity reasons to give Baptist a preferred civ.
alvarobuenogarcia1234 10 Jul, 2014 @ 5:50am
In that case I shall say that in Germany 64% people is catholic; in Netherlands a 27% and only 16,6% is protestant (of those only a 6% of calvinist); in USA, as protestant churches are divided, catholicism is also the main religion of the country; and in Sweden a 64% people is atheus so there's no predominant religion.
Tomatekh  [author] 10 Jul, 2014 @ 5:19am
The preferences are based on the civ leader or the current majority of practioners living there today, not where the religions was founded.
alvarobuenogarcia1234 10 Jul, 2014 @ 3:43am
Baptist cristianism was the one founded in Netherlands, calvinism was founded in Switherland
Ulixes 5 Jul, 2014 @ 2:33am
Thank you!
Tomatekh  [author] 4 Jul, 2014 @ 2:41pm
Sorry about that. All that changed was that I set preferences for Zulu, Iroquois, Shoshone (who are set to Protestant in the default game), I had forgotten previously, as I normally just use my Historical Religions mod and I've added native religions there.
Ulixes 4 Jul, 2014 @ 2:39pm
Hi Tomatekh, may I ask what's changed between v. 2 and v. 3? I ask this because I have included it in my mod (I asked permission some day ago if you remeber) and I wish to know if there's some correction that maybe I missed.
I really don't want to be annoying but could you consider to write a brief line in the "change notes" section when you update? Could be helpful both for users and modders.
Thanks in advance for your time.
Jaleno9 3 Jul, 2014 @ 10:23am
Well I have never seen an Anglican so I never thought that they would consider themselves Protestants.
Tomatekh  [author] 2 Jul, 2014 @ 7:30pm
@Jaleno9

That's why I include Anglicanism in both the Protestant pack and the more general Christian Denominations pack. Depending on who you ask, people consider Anglicanism both seperate from (as it originated seperate from Luther and Calvin) and part of (since it was significantly influenced by Protestantism in the 16th century) Protestantism.
Jaleno9 2 Jul, 2014 @ 5:01pm
I thought Angelicanism was way before the Protestant Reformation.
Lisan al-Goonib 30 Jun, 2014 @ 9:32pm
Very Nice Mod, Thank you, I'm a baptist myself.
Tomatekh  [author] 30 Jun, 2014 @ 2:21pm
@hihiirogane

I actually forgot to set them as I was working off my Historical Religions list. I'll add preferences for them soon, thanks! Until I do the game will just default them to luterhanism as that used the base _Protestantism tags)
hihiirogane 30 Jun, 2014 @ 12:13pm
What are preferences of Iroquois, Shoshoni and Zulus?
K3v1ntorres 27 Jun, 2014 @ 4:52am
Sounds like a good idea
Graewulfe 25 Jun, 2014 @ 4:34am
Thanks for this. I'm looking forward to giving it a try.
Tomatekh  [author] 24 Jun, 2014 @ 7:12pm
As with all of my historical religion mods, I continue to add new religions to the individual mods as my schedule permits. The current 5 are included because they were requested for another mod. Additional denominations will be added in the future.
CrossBow 24 Jun, 2014 @ 6:30pm
Where is Pentecostalism? We are the second most followed Protestan Denomination.
Commissar BS 24 Jun, 2014 @ 12:43pm
Lutherans FTW
Tomatekh  [author] 22 Jun, 2014 @ 1:05pm
@skaz88

Oops, I forgot to add the preferences for LS's civs. I'll update the mod with them shortly. But, yes, I believe the Churc of Scotland is Presbyterian so it would be Calvinist.

@Jynx Maze

The main reason for that is although I use my Christian Denominations, I actually won't be using the Protestant Denominations (which were a request) in my own games. (The mods work together perfectly fine, though).

I will be doing more with Islam in the near future, but my plans aren't entirely set at the moment.
skaz88 22 Jun, 2014 @ 12:30pm
Would LS's Scotland be Calvinist?
𒄑𒉈𒂵𒈩 22 Jun, 2014 @ 12:12pm
Interesting you chose to split this from Christian denominations. Will you be doing Druze/Ismaili/12ers anytime soon? Good Work btw
Tomatekh  [author] 22 Jun, 2014 @ 10:59am
Added a Protestant Denominations mod by request. As usual, it works stand-alone or in conjunction with any combination of my other mods. Let me know if there are any problems as I used a template to code it instead of from scratch.
