i found them, just partaking in too much clang kola apparently
Saint Khaos 24 Jan @ 6:47pm
am i crazy or do the offroad wheels not come with this pack?
TheSandsofFlowingTime 18 May, 2024 @ 12:37pm
Hey, just noticed in my world that the terrain deformation that looks like the tire tracks, absolutely cripples my FPS when I look at it up close. From a distance it appears to be fine and does not cause any issues, but when walking up to it, my FPS drops from 120 down to 11
Skyblade 4 Mar, 2024 @ 1:36pm
9x9 wheels have different power values, the left wheel for all 9x9 is a consumption of 3.5MW where as the right 9x9 wheel is only 500kW any chance of this being fixed?
Nunya 24 Sep, 2023 @ 3:12am
Please, for the love of this mod, fix the hit boxes. It's infuriating how limited it makes builds when the hit box is this offset.
taro 27 Jun, 2023 @ 12:47am
this mod broke prevents loading into worlds
Ancient Elculous 7 Apr, 2023 @ 10:07pm
I think the wheels are underpowered, as even vehicles that the wheels can hold up at 10-15% suspension strength barely move at full power.
CyberWizard 19 Jan, 2023 @ 9:48am
my truck with 7X7 wheels have a clang problem when I load the game it also has not enough power to move the truck without external help (thrusters)

Hey, I was wondering if I could possibly reupload your mod so I can increase the wheel health, is that a possbility?
dragonsphotoworks 28 Oct, 2022 @ 8:06pm
I take it, it is fine to upload to mod.IO? Not the mod but wheels i turn into dual wheels in a BP?

Can i make dual wheel versions "Blueprint not mod" And upload them to mod.io? Friend wants them but cant make them dual as need a script to make them dual. So im making dual wheel sets for him. And uploading to mod.io.

Ill be using this mods wheels to make dual version to send to him. Ill add a link to your mod as well.

Again im not modifying mod. Just using the wheels to attach a 2nd wheel to each one.
Warriorsage 12 Oct, 2022 @ 7:04am
Love the mod, but it would be nice to be able to select JUST a wheel from the G menu. It's a small nitpick, but only because having an average player inventory means making multiple trips to rebuild the whole suspension.
dragonsphotoworks 1 Oct, 2022 @ 6:32pm
Been lookinbg for this type of mod for ever. Thank you ever so much for this!!
ColdAtmoran 1 Jun, 2022 @ 5:07pm
I was just wondering why the wheel hit-boxes were so close to the suspensions compared to the wheel models themselves? It makes using the "add wheel" function almost impossible without massive wasted space in a wheel-well.
qscvhi2001 13 May, 2022 @ 5:48am
Regarding the Chinese localization, the left wheels are all correct, but the right wheels are all wrong, I hope it can be fixed, thank you.
BIV 4 May, 2022 @ 7:16am
You are definately sporting the biggest set of wheels that I've seen on SE. The video was great also, looking forward to jumping stuff and rolling over any annoying smaller rovers for a change. Well done and great work. Thanks.
Mike_Huntstynx 23 Apr, 2022 @ 8:34pm
Those keen issues you mentioned. Do those include the over weight issue? Often with the big wheel mods i can't have the same weight i can with 8 5x5 vs 6 7x7's. you'd think they would be stronger but.. This mod looks interesting
uWuJima 6 Apr, 2022 @ 11:29pm
@The Proper Kit Cat are you sure you arent referring to the vanilla wheel behavior where holding X lowers wheel strength to 0 and releasing it rapidly increases it back, allowing you to "jump" in your rover?

I'm installing the mod myself and will see if I notice what you are speaking of, but it sounds to me like you are referring to the above, and it's an intentional feature of the vanilla game.
The Proper Kit Cat 6 Apr, 2022 @ 10:51pm
It's super consistent and I can force it to happen just by holding X.
The Proper Kit Cat 6 Apr, 2022 @ 10:50pm
Hey so there seems to be a pretty major issue with the small grid 15x15 wheels where under most conditions the suspension will have no strength and the wheels lift up so much that the point of contact changes to the suspension. Sorry for the bad explanation of it but that's the best way I can thing to put it. If you need to see it I can show you in some way.
Stellar Remnant 6 Apr, 2022 @ 4:00am
That rate and favorite gif is obnoxious.
Remx 2 Apr, 2022 @ 2:35am
Remove "Z" or you will be banned for Russian propaganda.
SprendiX 25 Mar, 2022 @ 1:29pm
excellent wheel sizes, enough power to carry huge bases, BUT they are incredibly fragile! Vanilla wheels are 2-3 times stronger.
Please make the appropriate strength of the wheels in dimension, I beg you very much!!! The stronger the better, wheels are the problem of all big cars!
Archan79 23 Mar, 2022 @ 2:37pm
I didn't tried, but I fought with tires for long time. And I didn't saw "bickering" in comments. How you managed to have functional collsion in those wheels? I tried everything and only worked when I copied vanilla wheels hkt. so no different sizes...
something changed?
Prolbo 20 Mar, 2022 @ 11:03am
How nice of you to do this work instead of developers. Really useful mod. Sadly not a part of vanilla. I assume that idea of actual mobile landbases with actual wheels, not puny little jokes we has been provided, hasnt been even considered by devs.
Secrian #FixTF2 20 Mar, 2022 @ 10:46am
I noticed that the wheels and suspensions hitbox and model doesnt align up for the 15x15 size. Also the wheels have half the integrity of 5x5 size despite being many times more expensive and bigger.
AlexanderTheWorst 22 Feb, 2022 @ 6:01pm
I was asking for something like this well before the wasteland dlc! like real life portal axles that raise the vehicle higher than regular! you can actually make giant moving bases with this and not look like ridiculous over-sized off-roaders. looks great! I'll try it.
Vendeta44 20 Feb, 2022 @ 5:01pm
This mods pretty great, love the extra selection. I was having a really hard time with the 15x15s and setting suspension heights though. Any time id increase the height but just a small margin it would send my giant rover flying straight up, sometimes just a meter or two but other times I get shot so high I wonder if its actually possible to escape a planet by bouncing the suspension on the wheels lol.
FartyParty 19 Feb, 2022 @ 2:21pm
I've always wanted to build a giant rover for planet Triton and use only sheer speed and a mountainside to launch my mobile base into space. Now I can!
Parker Posey's Mouth 13 Feb, 2022 @ 1:29pm
Now I have no reason not to make the mobile drill platform I always dreamed of!
Zantulo  [author] 12 Feb, 2022 @ 9:56am
Nice! One of the reasons I only used one big rover for this video was because there aren't really any rovers on the workshop big enough to convert to a 15x15 rover, for obvious reasons. I've created a Discussion Thread where you can post workshop links of your rover prefabs if you want them featured in my next two wheel mod videos.
Darkaiser 12 Feb, 2022 @ 7:48am
I've used the largest size on a couple of projects and I LOVE them!
Darkaiser 11 Feb, 2022 @ 5:51am
I recently found a huge wheel mod (25x25) but those seemed almost too big. Your mod seems to offer a nice range from 'small-large' to 'OMG huge!'
Mistlynx 10 Feb, 2022 @ 10:31pm
Didn't realize they had to be spheres though for some reason that isn't surprising.
Zantulo  [author] 10 Feb, 2022 @ 3:13pm
MistLynx, the thing about thinner wheels is that wheel collisions have to be spheres. So imagine a 15x15 sphere, with a wheel that's only 5 blocks thick. You'd either have to extend the axle very far outwards to accommodate it, or set the collision several blocks past the wheel's model. Then players would have a hard time judging how far out the collision is when driving past blocks. The fundamental design of my next wheel mod is giving me more creative freedom to do something like this, so maybe I'll come up with a viable solution for thinner wheel variants in that mod.
commie._.tears 10 Feb, 2022 @ 2:30pm
I have a feeling the population of Space Engineers players in the Southeastern United States will increase now that this mod exists
Mistlynx 10 Feb, 2022 @ 10:52am
I'd love a size 15 wheel that was a bit thinner.
Jean3000 9 Feb, 2022 @ 9:46pm
Saw the picture, saw the name, hit subscribe. Im not sure what I'll use it for yet but I'm sure I'll find a use.

Viper 9 Feb, 2022 @ 4:48pm
amazing
black_dragon1230 8 Feb, 2022 @ 11:46am
Well now I have to sub to this one too. Ilove your lifted suspension wheel mods!!!
davidanttila1980 7 Feb, 2022 @ 7:40pm
Okay I'll say it! This must be made standard for those of use who want Mobile bases!
Unruly 7 Feb, 2022 @ 12:24pm
The 3x3 wheel base means I'll have to essentially remake my rovers to use 'em, but then that's half the fun anyways. Thanks for these!
Mateus 7 Feb, 2022 @ 10:37am
Finally a mod (with god tier quality) that's adds bigger wheels. It is like a dream became true.

Zantulo  [author] 6 Feb, 2022 @ 10:42pm
The question that I have is...why did it take this long for 9x9+ to make it onto the workshop? ;)
I've got plenty more to say about the lack of wheel/suspension mods. I might release bigger wheels eventually, but first I'll introduce a plethora of variety in the same sizes I have in my first two wheel mods.
