Ok I am going across the maps and making changes to most of them

-Increased hostile spawn distance while players ride helicopters to stop hostiles from spawning too close
-For SOG AI, it wont work when the map has SOG adavanced revive module enabled ( the module that lets you withstand)
I have an unlisted version out which is now linked in the description to reduce workshop spam with too many versions ( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3159151868 )

So for SOG AI to work, that version does not have the advanced revive module, and you can pick what ever version of ACE you want.

For the F4C the way the support mod works is it will see what the load out of the aircraft has and list it all, so that fuel tank is actually just a fuel tank, and the mod will let you just drop a fuel tank on someone.

Alright,I went on a wiretap mission, ran into another very large group of a mix of VC and what looked like NVA North of the Salem House - Fish hook point to the west. I reached the wiretap location and it was guarded by a camp of some sort, and despite bombing it before landing, it looks like the ALIVE module or whatever controls it ONLY spawns the actual garrison in at 200 meters which made it very difficult to bomb the camp. Also, after landing, an extra garrison spawned at point blank range and promptly murdered me. In short, using air support without being within danger close seems to be impossible the way ALIVE spawns the garrisons. Is there a way to up the spawn distance of enemy garrisons somehow? I've seen large patrols spawn at 700m.

Also the support F4-C phantom's have an option called "fuel tank" i assume they're supposed to be napalm the way they are dropped, but they despawn upon contact wth the ground and seemingly do nothing..

Its updated, Spyder vehicle spawner is being used. Just walk up to it and select a vehicle to spawn

MurMur double check the if everything is okay with your Unsung version. It seems to be having trouble spawning Unsung mod units

DMP should load a few tasks at server start, at FOB 1 I have a radio set up to force load tasks. It is found in a bunker behind close to the Arsenal, should be marked as HQ on the map.

But when testing on my side if the server is having trouble with frames it takes a while for it to finally load tasks. The DMP mission generator did break in the past, I will have to go in and see what is wrong.

I believe I was using alive, How do you generate them with DMP? Alive seems to be the one having trouble.

I cannot get this to run on my pingperfect dedicated server, keeps telling me
"7:21:32 Warning Message: You cannot play/edit this mission; it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted.

I will take a look at it, an update might have messed something up with a modules. Another way of generating missions would be with Alive and ACE. http://alivemod.com/wiki/index.php/Command_%26_Control

Patrol tasks, and wire taps work the best, especially since the wire tap missions will increase the rate at which your map will reveal enemy positions. Hitting those enemy positions will usually force the Alive commander to respond to you in some way.

Hey, I noticed that some missions cannot be completed. Like the interdict missions and then I noticed that when I generate missions some times the objective will show up but nothing will be there. Such as a POW rescue. Ill get there and no POW will be there. Is there any fix for this? Or a way to generate missions? maybe im doing something wrong?

You have to host a server to be able to play, you can do this through the server browser. You can host a server and select either online or local.

Yeah i had it enabled, and once disabled it worked. But they just flew default heights not any set heights i typed in. Still amazing mission, I'll just live with the fact I can't do Ops out of Cambodia or Laos during a typhoon lol

Simplex mod does run into trouble when trying to land in some areas, that is just a problem with the mod / ARMA 3.
I run into the same problem sometimes, a work around is to request to fast rope into the LZ, or to issue another order.

sorry but i keep running into this AI bug. When I use simplex support for transport via helicopter, the AI pilot will just fly up into the air forever before heading to its destination

Sorry for the multi post - wanted to say I figured it out by using the Debug Console mod on the workshop to enable the console and just executed it there to delete the server save. Thanks again for an awesome mission.

This might be a question for the Alive team, but when playing self hosted LAN I saved server on my last play session. I'd like to wipe the save and restart the mission but when I pull up the Alive menu and go to debug console it's blacked out and can't be selected. Any ideas?

Yeah I agree about Hanoi, I am looking for a way to increase AA around there dynamically. Going to have to experiment with Alive and see if it can get units spawned there.

Yeah I have seen Simplex do that to other people , I will take a look at it again.

You can post your video here if you want, it would be a nice example for people that are not sure how this works.

That I cant recreate on my side, the Alive commander will abandon some areas and enforce others depending on how the war is going.
With the App menu key you can turn on several debugs to take a look at how and where things are spawning, and this will change over time.
As for DMP server restarts can help but I have never seen it completely stop spawning missions, it does slow down sometimes.
