the ideia is great, but unfortunally start only in the future era, why not make a ancient great explorer unit, with a ancient tend as his new improvement, to the olders eras?

Can you either work with JNR to integrate with his Great Explorers mod or separate the Vostok Wonder to be stand alone?

Neat idea, but the Great Explorers are a bit of a pain in the butt. If you link them to a Scout, you can't use Automated Exploration, nor can they do Automated Exploration by themselves. The Written books come a way bit too earlier in my opinion and make them to much like Great Writers, but I get the concept. Maybe instead give them some retirement options involving Goody Huts/Tribal Villages, Barbarian Camps, and Natural Wonders?

DOH user error obviously it does not flag that you need the latest content for it, it still allows me to enabled it although I am missing the New frontier pass.

AhA that's why now I have Russian language in the game instead of normal, I don't remember if it was Polish but at least I had English set, I would like to ask you to fix this oversight quickly.

@JKingJ As a result of any civ can hiring Vasco da Gama who provides 3 Nau and can build Feitoria , so any civ have that abillyty (it not bug)

@Searching... maybe you explained this somewhere and I missed it, but why does explorers give every civ access to the Feitoria? Is that intentional or a mod conflict?

This sounds so interesting, but the texts are riddled with typos and the grammar is as adventurous as the explorers at times. Because of that some of the descriptions are really, really ambiguous and I wouldn't know what to expect from them. 'Explorings' is a word, technically, but not one commonly seen and you use it as if it described an established game mechanic. And judging from the screenshots there are also changes to the milestones of a Science Victory which isn't mentioned in the mod's description at all. Please have someone proofread this for you.

No more Great Explorers Points from Natural Wonders , cuz it was a case of points errors with a lot of civs on map. In that way mod become playable with a lot of civs !

Interesting, but a pure RNG shitfest.
Especially the Settler explorers also snowball way too hard for being such heavy RNG.

I think you might need to turn down the points for most of this, and remove the "only first player" limit.
Make it so that if you are the first person to see a wonder, get +2, anyone else who explores it later can get +1. For every wonder. Do something similar with continents.
Settle your first City on X terrain? +1.
Your first city on this new continent? +1.

That way you actually DO incetivise exploring, since you'll get a payoff for it.
Right now you just need to lucksack into a decent start for the initial points/turn, and then you can sit on your ass forever without ever setting out on expeditions, because even if someone else does, they can't get any points from it anyway.

As is, this just feels frustrating to use, you see all this cool stuff you can do... but you got fucked in map generation so you aren't allowed to play.

Но из-за того что у меня не открывается Asset Editor я не могу сделать лидера (с фоном тоже проблемы) в дипло-меню (3d модельки для юнита и района тоже проблема, но не настолько критично). Yep on high difficulty level , it is what it is, you got Great People in a mid or late game ...it not only about Great Explorer

So It's turn 6 on emporer difficulty, I've actually done really well exploring around my area with a heavy chariot (It was from the civ expanded mod), a warrior and a scout. I got 2 points for settling on desert. One of the AI is 9 points, another is 3, the rest are 0. The problem it seems with this system, is that one AI will continue to get 9 points every round for the rest of the game? Is that right? And if so, there doesn't seemt to be anyway to catch up until like mid or later game looking through your list of achievments?

Won't that 1 AI just end up getting like every GP in this game?

Ok ok i tell you guys something , did you know the GPP(great person points) system is coded by Feraxis by the difficulty level you are playing ? if civ got 1 GPP it can be x2 on King difficulty , don't know exectly what the formyla is they made , i just put Great Explorer points in that system , ofcorse i can take it out , and it will be borring same easy like on Prince (default) Ai will got true pionts like you ...
but we can talk about to change it , if you give me more objectiv facts to do it...
Points not permanent - all you got from trigers explorings will can not be lost from points/turn till end of the game , only you can lost points from buildings and wonders...Also there list of u can find a file in mode folder with name - List of achievements ...there all points u can earn by explorings but full you can see by notices in the game when acivment is taken by u or other civ ...

I read your note about looking at the achievements in teh config files. But I'm a little confused. I played the start of a game and was doing a lot of exploring and I was +4 explorer points/turn doing really well, but then another civ shot up to +8 and took a bunch of explorers..

Are the points that are in achievement permenant? What gets you points per turn?

But what does that mean? Does that mean I get X great person points per Y tiles revealed? Or Only on certain triggers.

Also, is it normal for some of the AI to start off with like 30-50 great Explorer points per turn? I'm 20 turns in and the AI is getting great explorers for the Renaissance era

@JNR it all connected with each other , early Polar Explorers are created by Great Explorers, new space projects gives Great Explorer points , also there technology buff from Great Explorers to space projects... i know some ppl didn't like new space projects , cuz it make science victory way longer...but if effect from new space projects is important like some buff i will think about it

- Great Explorers
- Polar Research
- Space Projects

can the explorers defend themselves or attack back?
great people usually can not be killed but are sent back to some city of your civilization usually, is that the case here?
civillian units, which great people count as under the game rules, can not be automated for exploration, can the great explorers be automated or does one have to interact with them every turn?
