Doesn't work, after first announcement AI built a Wonder it disappeared from my list.

@OneFourNine. I suppose such a mod could be made but this was a quick and dirty mod I put together. Haven't looked into Civ5 modding enough to do it.

Can this mod disable wonders for the ai and continue to let the player build wonders.

I have an old mod (before Steam took over the mods) that does the same thing. Egypt's UA still works fine with national wonders, so its utility is not harmed.

Honestly, I feel CIV becomes more about who can build wonders faster than actually playing the game. I like this MOD idea.

Great Idea Tveith. I've done exactly that. The ideology world wonders are now natilonal wonders. If I revist this I'll probably modify egypt to get a 20% boost on natilonal wonders or maybe just a basic building boost of a few %.

although I am usualy a player who focuses on wonders, and typicaly dont like to play mods, I like the idea of this mod

a few ideas
maybe change the ideology wonders to national wonders instead of world wonders
if you havent done that already

They become useless. I suppose I could change or add bonuses but honestly I just wanted to try the game out without wonders. Changes things up.

Ummm...what happens to Egypt's UA and the other game mechanics that grant wonder-related bonuses?
