Some people have stressed that the extra features are unnecessary in this mod, which is why KSR became a barebones states rework. Other people, however, liked the features so I might aswell bring them back in a seperate mod. Currently there is some progress on that specific KSR:Expanded mod.
Thanks to everyone for playing the mod, I hope I made your HOI4 experience a bit more pleasant during the No Step Back era.
could make updates even more expansive, or go faster
For those of you who have game saves on the previous version (1.0.3.1) of KSR, you will no longer be able to continue playing those saves with the newest update of the mod.
This is because new states were added and several features and countries were removed, which conflicts with previous game save data.
To continue playing KSR with the newest update, you must start a new game.
Version 1.1.0 has been released for KSR and it is by far the biggest update for the mod. Some of you may, however, notice that the mod feels emptier now without all the supplementary features. Not to be alarmed!
I have decided to take Kovas' States Rework into a new direction by releasing a clean, states-only version of the mod that now has an open compatiblity for submods. All features that you have enjoyed so far (be it state integration, micronations or releasables) will be uploaded later in several submods for KSR.
This change was initiated based on the reason that not everyone enjoys having additional features alongside states themselves, and from here on in KSR will be submod-friendly.
Thanks to everyone for being patient about the update as it took me several months to gather my time and focus to produce and release what is now the biggest update for the mod.
Have a good day!
First of all, fantastic mod, I've been really enjoying all the new additions. However I noticed that it's incompatible with Expert AI, where certain decisions are not available, some states were not transferred correctly after certain events, such as Munich Conference etc. I'm not sure just how much is it possible, but are there any plans to perhaps enchance the compatibility between the two mods?
Cheers, thanks for all the hard work!
It is a good idea though as all the additional inclusions can be made into sub-mods. Will be reconsidered.
About 60 new states are coming to the mod focused more on the Balkan and Middle Eastern regions, aswell as some improvements to already revamped regions in Europe, such as the inclusion of correct German Reich, German Empire, Austria-Hungary borders and so on.
The state integration system will be reworked to include more options for more countries. As you may know right now there are only 4 countries that enjoy the ability of integrating additional core territory. This will also be expanded in a reasonable manner.
I want to say thank you to everyone for playing this mod and especially for leaving feedback, no matter whether it's suggestions or bug reports. It all helps make the mod that much better.
Have a good day.
im worried this is becoming a dead mod
