@Val von Ra. Thanks. I did this, but would like to remove one of the trackers, and I imagine that can only be done via the console now. I used to recall the command code, but I don't anymore. Something like 'remove_trait blt_red' I tried this and the reverse- 'red_blt', and it didn't recognize either time that I was trying to remove the red blood drop trait. @Sketchy, would you (or someone who knows) be so kind as to post what the codes are for the different colors? Thanks.

Decision "Enable Bloodline Tracker" isn't working but you can start with the trait and it works as intended.

still works and no crashes with tours and tourney 1.9 but not sure if its causing some conflicts or errors that doesnt cause a game crashing thing since this mod was last update in april 2022 :adulterer:

@ArmaLite sure go ahead.

@Sketchy With your permission I would like to expand on this using some of your original code and referencing your work if that's O.K. ? If not I'll add your work on this mod as a dependency and still site this mod as inspiration for expanding this idea. Thanks for all your work on this!

Please make a new cheat mod for CK3, Daddy Pika has abandoned his mod and has not been updated in 6 months and it doesnt even work anymore. We need you

the sacred blood and sayyid traits (or however they're called in english) are always inherited even if the child is not of sacred blood (due to cheating mother) but will be lost if the secret is found out and made public. Will the bloodline trackers behave the same way? And can we remove them again, if we dont want to track a certain bloodline no more?

I LOVE this mod that works great with Royal Court. I'm with @ArmaLite, though. Is there any way to add more colors/ trackers? I use this to track my first ruler's children's lines, and so with six trackers, I feel like I have to stay at six or less children, when the game usually gives you ten before even slowing down. Awesome as it is with the six trackers, though. Thanks so much!

Awesome mod. Thanks for this. Is there a possibility to have it show on the dynasty screen? Also any chance of adding more colors for larger trees?

Thanks

You can disable it and the traits will remain.

Another quick question after I enabled the bloodline tracker and gave the choice of color bloodline to my family can i disable the decision again so it is gone from the interaction menu or does it need to stay active ?
FunGaming44 15 Feb, 2022 @ 3:58pm
Ahh ok, so no way to add it back up to someone who is long past gone lol

The main idea was to allow you to track specific lines within a dynasty from a certain character. So if for example you had 3 children, you could give each a different trait, then keep track of their respective lines generation after generation. Think more like houses within a dynasty.

Applying it to the entire family would just make it operate like the dynasty tree. If you want to do that though, apply it to the mother or father of your main if they are alive, and it'll apply to all the siblings.

Is there anyway you can expand this to brothers and sisters, uncles, aunts etc of your main character ?? I mean they do belong to the complete bloodline and it would be awesome to track down far relatives
Sketchy  [author] 15 Feb, 2022 @ 1:30pm
It automatically assigns it to children on birth, its basically a 100% chance to inherit congenital trait.

The character interaction to assign it gives it to children and grandchildren since they can't "inherit" it if they are already born.
FunGaming44 15 Feb, 2022 @ 1:29pm
Awesome, finally something to track
FunGaming44 15 Feb, 2022 @ 1:02pm
How far down the line will it go ? is it just until the grandchildren or beyond that ?? wish we had a bloodline screen like we did for CK2 though
