Anyway I started a new save now I can see the reset menu.

For anyone having issue
- You need to right click on an individual book not on a stack of book, there's a "Reset Page Read" options there.
- Also make sure you not only enable the mod in the mod section, but also add it in the "workshop" list or it won't work.
I ended up starting a new run shortly after making the mod and haven't had the issue since, so it wasn't really worth it time wise to make that mod versus restating.
So I'm glad it's helping other people at least

It works and saved my run. This is a great mod.
