Drunk Dog, there should be no problem in creating a tree. With everything else - these functions are almost done, but there is not enough time to upload the update to Steam. The mod will be updated soon.

The option to create a tree appears, but it does not. :(
And the decorations even created in the inventory can not hang.
Someone with the same problem?

It has just turned November in my current play through, some decorations and a nice present will be well deserved if I make it to Christmas!
