Haven't played the game in a while, so I can't confirm one way or the other.
But I would imagine it works, as all it does is change a few item values. Nothing too complex.
If it doesn't work, I think it would be fairly safe to remove mid-game as well. Best of luck.

Heads up to anyone using this mod with Ports of Ill Repute . You'll want to move Misc. Tweaks ABOVE Ports of Ill Repute in your mod menu, accessible from the main menu screen of Horizon's Gate. I've put a warning in Ports of Ill Repute's mod description on the workshop

The Ray Oil price is so excessive because, while easy to farm, I basically never found myself bothering to fight the megarays and their kin after a certain point. It simply wasn't worth the brief loading time to get in and out of a fight with them. And like the gem changes, it was to give a hefty boost to cash inflow so you can afford to do more fun things than grinding and trading.

@Pinky But yeah, just feed what you feel is excessive back to the megarays, self-made solutions are great like that.

@King It is all spaghetti code, all the way down, I'm certain. You are quite correct regarding the extra content making XP easier to inhale though. I mostly made the change to accomodate non-mainteam characters so they can develope faster. With a slight increase in price as another extra form of revenue if you feel the essence gems are redundant and just want to sell the ones you get from mods like Heartwood.

This will be neat to see how you've done and then I think I may change values. I actually plan to release something that turns DOWN the power of Essence Gems because if you play with the excellent modded content available (for example Prominence's Workshop ), you quickly get a LOT of XP. I like the idea of upping the cache space and the ray oil price (although I'd maybe suggest less for the price, as Pinky said it's market independent and you can farm it very easily). But hey, still great ideas!

This is great. I had actually just been thinking about making a mod for better caches when I found this, and I love the boarding changes too. Personally I think the ray oil price is a bit excessive since it doesn't affect market value, but I can just throw 2/3 of it in the ocean and feel balanced anyway.
