There was no jug in my shelf. So I sadly couldn't play the rest of the room. But until then it was really nice.

Bloody brilliant. As far from Potions Class Semester Test as you can get, the former coming across as piecemeal and non-intuitive (yes, I know it was meant as a harder escape room; it still felt unsystematic).

Enjoyed the music, the riddles, and the cohesiveness of the room; an immersive snapshot of the HP universe in puzzle form. I had a little trouble ranking the students, but mostly because I forgot which houses some of them were in. Ranking Harry Potter and Seamus Finnigan was the most confusing, as they're in the same house, but trial and error prevailed.

I most appreciated the hints appearing in post-owl form, and the Easter egg via the floo network at the end. Testing the player's knowledge with HP trivia seemed very appropriate, well done. All in all, a tribute to the escape room community and great fun!

Hey brother thanks for the awesome room. Me and my gf really enjoyed it.

Id like to report a small exploit. It is possible to remove Both of the name tags from the box with the color splat spinners on it simply by crouching low and picking them up out of the bottom of the box

I won't believe that Snape will rank any house higher than Slytherin lol , nice room

Never Figured out what the spoons were for LOL. Completed the entire room (including the secret room, and never used them. So not sure what i did or didnt do. But atleast i still completed the room! Still kinda wish I knew what the spoons were for in the drawer. I even watched the walkthrough and looked at every hint in the game just to check and never saw them used.

Great room! Actually found the secret room without the proper hint, fortunately I refused to leave the room after the end and managed to get back to the secret room and finish it properly. The ranking was a bit perplexing but I managed to go through it without a walkthrough, so it is not broken. Hope you do more HP themed rooms and thanks for the great job!

Was enjoying the room up until the point of the ranking board. Chest refuses to open, redid the room multiple times, even re downloaded just in case. Would of loved to get to the ending. Hope there's a fix for it!

I've got the nine rankings correct. I've even checked a solution online and the chest below it is not opening. -_-

Great room, just a small issue: The carpet in front of the ranking board covers the sheets with names of the students sometimes. Played it together with a friend and wanted to drop the name-sheets for one of us to put them up while the other checks the cauldrons. Couldn't finish the room, because the carpet "ate" Seamus (reproducible problem. Next card dropped disappeared, too. Third card was fine.) Didn't make the room any less awesome, just wanted to let you know. Really great work.

great room, it took some time to figure the rankings out but got there in the end! well presented and great for all those harry potter fans :)

It is not broken. Many guides are outdated because the room was updated. Make sure to check the description of my walkthrough video for changed steps.

A lot of people in here are insisting the ranking board is broken with the author insisting it's not. It is also broken for me. I checked that it was the correct ranking, took them out and put them all back in several times. The chest does not open.

Yup you can find that out by solving the cauldron puzzle. Sorry you didn’t get that far! For the main escape you don’t need any prior Harry Potter knowledge.

No idea which house belongs to which character without looking it up somewhere outside the game. Maybe I did not find something giving me more information on the houses people belong inside the game, but for me the experience was over at that point, sadly.

Puzzle with the names does work! Try again and make sure to check the description of my video. Most are outdated.

map is brokey, finished all the puzzles but the puzzle with the names didn't work. Also looked for the solution online but that also didnt open the chest

My wife and I just finished this room, and the secret. She's a HUGE Harry Potter fan and we had a blast! Thanks a ton for taking the time to make this. It made our evening.

p.s. My wife was wondering if you misspelled "tentacle" on purpose as a clue. It turns out you didn't, but man, 10/10. Brought smiles to our faces!

The ranking is broken. I've followed the walkthrough linked here in an attempt to just get it over and done with, but the chest just won't open. Bit of a shame.

I encountered a bug. If you place the mug in its place before turning on the spigot, the mug is deleted as soon as the spigot is turned on.

Tried this room, and loved the atmosphere and music (and the puzzles), but was unable to finish it because the Ranking board did not work (checked a couple walkthroughs to confirm I had it right; I did, but the chest never opened).

Ok, so i tried this room and it was amazing. It took me too long to figure out what do the owls behind the window mean, why are they here for. I was thinking its for the 6 colour dots. I cound't figure that out and when i was so helpless i pressed the hint button AND ONE OF THE OWLS FLEW TO THE WINDOW. I facepalmed so hard when that happened and soon after that found the correct answer to that part. The biggest problem for me was the ranking. I didn't solve that part even though i tried many times. The walkthrough i watched didn't help much because in the video luna was in hufflepuff and during my playthrough luna was ravenclaw. I tried both combinations and still no luck. I gave up on that and finished the room by going to the secret room.

One of the first user created maps I played and it was great! Love Harry Potter. Had to play it twice though because I was almost done the first time and it said I won when i found the Easter Egg, so played it again.

Was fun, until we discovered that Seamus' nameplate wouldn't go in the wall. We were able to get all other students nameplates to snap to the wall except for Seamus' and we couldn't continue the room any further. :(

Quite a fun room! Loved the easter egg of using Magic: The Gathering set symbols on the ingredient bottle tags.

For now the secret ending is broken, I will be fixing it tomorrow, sorry for the inconvenience!

I have all 9 nametags in the correct order (checked your walkthrough) but the chest won't open. I already have everything else done and I'm just missing the one book but the chest won't open :(

Hey thanks for your comments! I recently updated the game and must have forgotten to fix the puzzle. I will do so later!

Nice room! But I have an issue or two.

The main issue is with the ranking, more precicely position 3-4-5.
The walkthrough shows LL as member of H that comes first (rank 3) and that is what opens the chest, but in my game the image shows house R that comes last (rank 5). Also HP and SF that both have blue have the same house G, so there is no way to order them other than trial and error. (It would probably be good if noone in the same house had the same color, but there are five G so that is a problem). This might be a work in progress, you posted something about Lunas house a few hours ago, but just in case it is a bug.

Also the documents are invisible from the back. I accidently dropped one and it was a bit difficult to find it again, since it landed upside down, and could only be noticed by the change of the icon to a hand.

Finally I want to say thank you very much for the color-blind-mode!
